Why does it fucking matter? The combat is not good, regardless of whose fault it is. The combat of Versus as it appeared in the trailers didn't look so hot either.

Yes, you can do that, but you're probably mentally ill if that's what you believe you're doing. Combat gets crazy especially in mobs, and you can control anything you do and have a wide range of attacks to use. Dodging needs to be thought out and combat is seamless and fluid. I think it's fucking great.

>never attack head on
>always be ready to dodge because random attacks without a lot of tells
