Anyone know of any video games that are fully playable on a laptop keyboard without having to add an external mouse or controller?
Anyone know of any video games that are fully playable on a laptop keyboard without having to add an external mouse or...
Binding of Isaac
Civilization games.
Cave Story and La Mulana if I remember correctly
Dwarf Fortress
Super Hexagon
Old SNES/Genesis games are very playable with just a keyboard, especially things like Sonic or Final Fantasy. Played through FFVI on my Thinkpad X220 and loved every second
Nethack

I play W3 and SC1 on my Memepad T420. Comfy as fuck my good lad.

Vagante
Pretty sure you can play rocket league witouth a mouse too
Elona
Starcraft 2
I got to Grandmaster without a mouse and mostly used hotkeys to jump the camera around.
Although mouse helps immensely if you get the Epic Fetus power-up.
Alpha Centauri.
Played it to death with a shitty toshiba laptop on a 3 month Alaskan road trip.

Gothic (1/2/notr) is made for keyboard. Early demos weren't even implementing mouse support.
Go play Risk of Rain
FTL is the best, no questions asked.
Binding of Isaac is pretty good.
So is Risk of Rain.
Those are pretty much the only 3 acceptable games. Either that or get an emulator
I was running DF on a laptop literally ten years ago, a modern one could run it fine.
Regardless, RAM speed is apparently the current bottleneck for on DF, not CPU/GPU performance.
Stepmania, if you're into music at all.
