I played got 12 hours in before i lost interest and stopped. I got stuck grinding the same few planets over and over so i could save up and wait another three days so i could upgrade to swords that gave me an additional 5% attack.

Not really, most prime frames share the same stats with their base frame, the biggest "plus" is that one type of trap recharges you while it kills others

Venka prime actually do deal damage.

Cernos prime is trash because it shoots like a shotgun so all of its damage is spread between each arrow.

When I played it looked like most primes had higher shields health and sprint speed. Only the earliest of primes had the same stats.

If valk prime just came out you should be able to buy 20 dollars worth of plat and trade some portion of it for valk prime. The prices of things in the official shop are ridiculous compared to buying prime versions from other players, even though the prime is superior. This only changes when things get removed from the drop pool.

If only in the slightest. Prime Frames have a few slightly higher base values, like their shields are 20 points higher, or they have higher defense by like 10 points. Only a noticeable difference when you have super high end percentage mods.

The biggest benefit is that they have pre-customized mod polarities, allowing you to get a good mod set with less work.

Mandatory mods like Hornet strike and Serration are getting changed. elemental mods are getting a rework and so is the mod upgrade segment of your ship.

The amount of mods you can have will have a limit based on your mastery

if you're maxed out on mods and you get a new one it will be available in the modding station after choosing what mod to get rid of

The game ISN'T a grind. In fact, the game hands you everything on a silver fucking platter. You have access to all warframes, all mods, all missions, etc. No grind required.

Honestly. Had her components within my first 5 hours. Started as Volt. Now the game has died on me. Fully modded slash Tigris P. Akstiletto P and Gala P. Invincible Chroma and an Arcane energize syandana. I'm now at easy mode where its just to boring to play now. All with only 300 hours in.

If it wasn't fun at the beginning it isn't going to get fun later.

This game is known for having an extreme grind. When you spend hours grinding for keys to get to the map, to grind for a blueprint, than have to grind another map for a blueprint it gets a little tedious. It's a fun game still, but stop acting like it isnt korean MMO levels of grind.

I did all this before new star chart and traded junk off for plat. Bought gala and tigris off noobs for cheap and went about my day. The only frame I don't have still is limbo. My star chart was open from before the update

I stopped playing after spending at least 80 hours trying to get the Brakk. I heard they made it easier after I left, but at that point it was:

>run 5 missions of corpus vs. grineer to get marked by the three musketeers
>party up with three others who are marked
>run those same missions over and over until they come
>kill them, hopefully, and hope that they drop a blueprint
>hope the blueprint is the one you need
>repeat

I know that it was one of the best weapons at the time and should've been hard to get, but the difficulty is in the grind and not in the missions or the gameplay.

Its been a couple months since I last played but everytime I think of farming rhino prime I get triggered.

You forgot to mention you can get any and all prime items in game without spending a cent. It's a pain and multiple layers of RNG, but I still wouldn't call it 'Pay'2win. More like "Pay2notgrind"

I don't mind the grind. I just play the game to be a badass space ninja and accomplish small goals while killing space jews, space marines, and space zombies.

For those who are unaware, because I know I fucking was, once you have the opportunity to go to Void areas, DO IT!

You'll often get rewards like weapon parts and even prime parts an shit.

YOU DON'T NEED THESE (most of the time)

THEY CAN BE SOLD TO OTHER PLAYERS IN MAROO'S BAZAAR FOR *PLATINUM*!
(Check the warframe market for price quotes, only ask for lower than average price if you're desperate for platinum {people are always looking for deals}, otherwise offer your things for slightly above the average price and haggle with people a little)

GET ENOUGH PLATINUM AND YOU CAN JUST BUY THE FRAMES, WEAPONS, ETC YOU WANT INSTANTLY!

It's not a "better" way, but it can sometimes be quicker than pure grind.

But REMEMBER: The fun of Warframe isn't just the gear/power creep, it's the action-based gameplay that could honestly fit quite nicely in a full-scale single-player console game for regular video game price. If you don't like the gameplay of Warframe, getting new equipment and cosmetics isn't going to make you like it the game.

Fuck i liked the idea of weapon damage being based off rank and the removal of damage mods, oh well.

They really need to get rid of those shitty ammo conversion mods and make pickups a flat percentage as well as making ammo capacity based off fire rate/magazine size.

Playing warframe is like playing a slot machine for free that gives nothing other then the pretty lights when you win. All you're doing is throwing away your time.

The game would be slighter better if it had more fun and over the top weaponry.

Like Defiance is a several tiers below on the sci fi scale but has some much better weaponry. Warframe has the Tonkor and a bunch of machine guns.

I've been playing since the last week of closed beta.

Play with streamers, friends, all sorts. Unlike Sup Forums, I don't need to focus on developer integrity, fair droprates, 'unfair' encounters, etc.

I just play the fucking game because I can soar through the air and land a jet-powered hammer into a clone-mook's face, launching him and his 7 mates sky-fucking-high.
And that's good enough for me.

The process is supposed to be fun. Steam says I have 440 hours in it, but in game it says 282. I'm guessing steam counts the length of time the client has been open for. Anyways, I've been burn out from the game, taken 8 months off and returned to enjoy the game just as much as when it was new to me.

At least I can show off my cool pirate with piratey guns and flashy pirate magic while flipping around a level and cutting bad guys apart.

It's better than TV, where you literally have nothing to show for your time other than "Yeah, I saw that too! It was cool."
