I still have a feeling Wii U version will end up being the superior game. After TP on GCN beating out TP on Wii, I just have a hunch.
it'd be too risky to show off the switch version in what'll presumably be a space open to the public.
What would they be risking? They already revelead the thing, are you implying some nigger may steal the tablet.
there's still a lot they have not revealed, they plan to show it off in detail january.
>And it runs at 60 fps no dips
Considering the Switch is at most twice as powerful as the Wii U, this seems unrealistic, considering they're far more likely to try to push 1080p than they are 60fps because it would mean they'd have to stay at 720p
They'll be showing it off in like a month from now. It wouldn't kill them to let people try it out beforehand
I suppose so, I just doubt they would is all. Besides, I'm pretty sure it'll just be a trailer and not gameplay footage this time.
wouldn't it make more sense to aim for 60fps since the whole selling point of the switch is its portability? and I highly doubt the tablet thing has a 1080p display.
Well it would be 1080p on TV obviously, it's probably underclocked in handheld mode to save power
And no, it doesn't make sense. I think in fact Aonuma was asked about 60fps back in 2014 and said they would consider it but he didn't really think it was necessary for Zelda
720/60 would be best case for Zelda.
They can go for 1080 on less intensive games like Mario.
The only thing they're going to show is a delay to Q3 2017.
in a way, I'd say he's right - zelda is hardly a high-octane action series that demands quicker reaction times which 60fps benefits you on; having said that, I'd take higher and more stable fps over higher resolutions any day.
the release date hasn't been announced yet, so that wouldn't be a "delay" it'd just be an announcement.
I'd say the same if we were talking about something higher than 1080p, but no. In 2017 I'm tired of 720p. It looks blurry and bad
Does this shit prizes even have a showfloor?
They surely just show new footage, my best expectations are a new area or even a town.
I would actually be fine with 1080p and constatnt 30fps, those WiiU footage dips have me worried as fuck.
I reckon the reason they didn't (and probably still won't) show a town is because the entire world has time-travel mechanics similar to OoT - Link will have to travel back in time before everything became the apocalyptic wasteland it is today in order to encounter any villages.
>After TP on GCN beating out TP on Wii
You just unanimously decide that in your little head there, champ?
>he actually liked TP Wii
