Not with RE7. Like most Capcom titles, it's a steady downhill roll into a valley of shit. Just can't believe RE6 wasn't the bottom.

They would need to reboot and drop the MGS tier retarded plot. Hopefully 7 is worth a fuck though.

it seems so, ink ribbons, shortcuts, item management, and puzzles are back plus the best thing that they take from the re4 is texas chainsawmassacre setting. it could be damn good. i hope its have good lenght, not eny 5h vr game pls.

It looks decent but I have a hard time believing this started off as a Resident Evil game. Capcom probably just wanted to create a first person horror game to make money from VR while it's still new and slapped RE in the title for name recognition. It's probably gonna be another divisive game in the series that people love or hate just like four was.

Point to me one person in this thread saying it's good.
Not it COULD be good, but it definitely IS good.

It gives off a pretty interesting vibe, but it's amazing how it manages to not look scary in the slightest. Every time there's the slightest chance for it to build up unease or fear they manage to botch it one way or another by being too on-the-nose.
You could almost write a book about it.

Is there new gameplay out? I played the PS4 demo but it felt a lot like PT, not much at all like Resident Evil
Is the game gonna be more like previous titles? I've only ever played 1,4,5, and 6, and I enjoyed all but 6.
