tzar was fun
...
I know 3 has basically more of everything, but I still somehow prefer 2.
I don't know, maybe it's the more straightforward conquest campaign.
I remember playing this on unlimited bux mode and creating strong as fuck weapons so a random unit would destroy everything in sight
Looks like trash
So good, so chill. There's a shit ton of ways you can go through this game
I miss the conquest campaign too, don't like the story-driven campaign of 3 at all, even though you have some freedom.
>that one bug where siege weapons rapid fire a dozen+ shots.
>getting dragon rushed by Asia
>Jihad warrior spam
Good times.
Looks like you are underage
King's Bounty is pretty fun, to be honest.
I used to do that too, but creating a really strong potion-based hero. It was fun to face a whole army with a single unit.
Just imagine a game promoteing jihad nowadays.
Forgot,
>using crusade for the first time
>keeping a unit alive long enough to get a custom name
I still have the CD, but whenever I try to install it, it doesn't boot up the setup wizard. I assume it's because I have too modern PC.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Use virtualbox with xp. Or just torrent the game, gog version works.
Perhaps using the XP mode, or installing it manually... I currently own a modern copy so I don't ahve that problem.
I cant be the only one burned on this crap
I'm so fucking pissed that neither work well on win10. Literally tried everything.
Loved this game so much, just dug it up on Steam the other week and it still holds up. Budget Warcraft 3 in some ways but my RTS options are limited these days.
...
Is it any good?
Yes, loved that game too. Great ressource-management, great strategy instead of clicking fast.
>5 playing now
>7 today's peak
to be fair, it's more than I expected
are those abrams getting smoked by shitty russian tanks?
Centurions, Pattons and M103s getting rekt by Object 279 experimental tanks. T-62s in back are just to make sure, they won't get surrounded and shot in ass.
A small cheap middle eastern handheld rocket launcher can smoke an Abrams.
>A small cheap soviet handheld rocket launcher can smoke an Abrams.

PYRODRAULIC DYNAMO IS READY
...
I FUCKING LOVE SACRIFICE
Did anyone manage to beat the campaign of this game? I remember it as beeing insanely hard
Кaк caмo ти щe cи гo игpaл?
The fuck is this?
I used to play Crysis Wars until EA closed the servers. After that I patched the game to play without GameSpy, but a 1 vs 1 is not fun compared to the old 25 vs 25 old huge maps.
Sorry mate, I'm from Spain.
I'm still searching for concept arts from this game and I only found this guy: jongwyn.com
Forgot the pic.
i played this, pretty cool game
It's still very open. In fact, it's extremely open.
Also, FUCK YEAH, WARLORDS BATTLECRY.
Is that some motherfucking Tzar?!
Still remember hmnopop
Have some feelings:

Game must be good?
fuck, I got it on gog and I think ima play it again
Zhon rules
Pretty sure I'm one of the rare 100's of people who actually played this game.
I need to see if I can find this game again
Shame it was underrated by many. I fucking loved Kingdoms.
fuck forgot screenshot
This game has really catchy soundtrack
This game is objectively horrible and i still love it, never met anyone who has played it tho
...
Is it actually good or just nostalgia goggles?
I thought it was WC3 from the thumb
vastly better than 3. It gets really fun once you get into it.
The upgrade system is REALLY awesome.
Cyka blyat.
Both.
The game is extremely unforgiving and the only way to upgrade units is to have them fight and survive battles, but there are only a set amount of enemies on the map outside of the AI. So if you lose your upgraded units or main hero you might as well restart because there is no way for you to get them back.
I don't recall if they died permanently in D2, but in D3 they could be revived at a town.
It's a solid game but incredibly frustrating. Main redeeming factor is the artstyle.
little tedious at start, because mobs are weak, and there's barely any XP from them, but once you beef up your hero and get some artifacts it gets pretty good.
Expansion was great, because you could (and should) bring hero you completed base campaign with.
Never seen Sup Forums talk about this before
>I don't recall if they died permanently in D2
You could revive any team member with potions, or in city, as long as at least one survived.
Ironically, you Americans underestimate Russian technology just as much as you overestimate the German one.
what game is this? looks familiar.
Heh, sorry boys. The game is probably the first Bulgarian ever made and it was a major thing back in the day in the old country. I remember buying it 2 months after release because it was carried by all Internet cafes (that's how we used to game back in the late 90's and early 2000's) and it was talked about in PC magazines and even on TV. Yeah, we had a show called "Gamers' show" where a bunch of guys would play and showcase the newest games and also film some of the better guys in the cafes.
Gaming back then was a whole lot different than it is now, in the sense that you had people from all walks of life going into the cafe, having snacks, listening to metal, rock, rap and electronica and just enjoying themselves. You had former soldiers, university professors, musicians, accountants, engineers and yes, even girls.
Those were the days.
Did it change drastically, bulgabro?
Creature Conflict The Clan Wars
After endless Worms games it was like a fresh air
>nor darklords raising 2
REEEEEEEEEE
Mage knight destinys soldier
Yeah, it did. When people were able to afford PCs and good Internet the cafes died down. It was also a generation thing. The main audience back in the day were the guys and girls that toppled communism while my generation is kind of boring. Even on the competitive gaming scene we aren't good anymore. We would routinely medal and produce good competitiors in the World Cyber games in both SC and WC3 and our 1.6 team Man1a was giving the Danes and Swedes a run for their money plus was a force on the Balkans.
Those cafes managed to produce some great players. Those cats could and would run circles around you and you would always have someone better to play against or just enjoy a coffee and some popcorn.
This is some Blitzkrieg?
>the true spiritual sequel to Dungeon Keeper finally arrives
>it dies in obscurity because devs have no marketing budget and are too lazy to shill on their own
it hurts
Pretty cool
...
...
Uh, is this a game based on the Russian movie?
Sort of.
I bought this a long time ago, still waiting on a few more patches to unfuck the combat. It's good but it really lacks the Dungeon Keeper feel of building a real dungeon.
They focused on balancing it too much and ignored the flavor.
A little
This is probably the greatest moment in Bulgarian e-sports:
youtube.com
He was even on TV after. Decent guy all-around.
It's more of a sequel to DK1 which was more "arcade" than DK2.
Hard not to be impressed at Nazi engineering.
>find WW2 tank in mud
>add fuel
>still works
youtu.be
On Steam EE
Diablo 2 Classic, 1.09c
I played both titles. If I remember correctly, the first one was short as fuck while the second one had physics and destructible objects.
...
The grind to level them up is beyond horrible and then you can lose them in a single battle.
Shit was my jam but only 100 people played it when it was released
Battalion Wars 3 never ever
...
>it really lacks the Dungeon Keeper feel of building a real dungeon.
As someone who only discovered the original DK 5 years ago I can never understand the hate nostalgiafags get for War for the Overworld.
Wait what, are you telling me Kings Bounty hasn't been played by everyone on Sup Forums?
No wonder this place went to shit.
Do somebody remember "Little Fighter II"?
>dat feel when someone saves your image
The's why you learn to run away and stall the pursuer with expendable units.
...
A highly polished cross of Starcraft and Warcraft 3 that sadly never got the attention it deserved.
holy shit, that was my JAM
> King's Bounty
I don't think it's that obscure or anything. Something like Etherlords would be more along those lines as far as I'm concerned. I always liked the Heroes meets CCG idea.
>we'll never get Etherlords 3
>devs are making mobile games now
Mah niggah
One of the game when EA used to be great.
I'm starting to think that no one has ever played TR:Chronicles on Sup Forums, and it sucks, because it's a GOAT game, albeit short.
I liked the way they beat the shit out of each other.
>that camera
To be honest etherlords 2 was horribly designed.
Fun, but designed like shit.
I tried replaying it recently.
The early game difficulty is based 99% on RNG. You can have literally the perfect tactic for a given situation and still have less than 10% chance of winning a fight.
