I thought they were gonna release it on steam considering they got a page for it but there is no pricing whatsoever. Pirating now to test it out first.
Yeah that, shows no pricing for me, just that it should be available December 1st.
Yeah, kinda odd... but, oh well, i guess if it don't come soon it will tomorrow
Its not available because its probably becoming available later today. Steams release times are not always in the morning.
Good to know, mate
sexist manlet drivel
One review said its like 9hrs, another said its like 30hrs. I dont know what to think
Cant get it on steam yet somehow.
Not sure if I'm interested at all, but I played some King Art games before and they were pretty well done.
Depends on where you live, of course...but I've seen games released at 4-8pm EST before. So I'd check back tonight.
Thanks for pointing this game though...looks pretty cool.
The story is from the books of the same name, and
book author worked with them.
Although, they said not all the books are covered in game, but
if people seems to like it, they gonna continue as franchies.
AND FOR VALHALLA'S SAKE, I WAIT FOR SOME OF OST MADE BY MY FAVOURITE BAND.
Looks alright. Not available for me yet, whats the price?
>no coop
Into the trash it goes.
could you at least post some details about your game, shill?
amazon.com
Not sure if this is right, but it's ok with me.
Btw, i think it is 30. I think i read somewhere where
even devs said it will last 30hrs main story.
$40, gonna have to see some reviews I guess. Thanks user
I only read the first book, but it was alright. Nothing brilliant, but pretty entertaining fantasy stuff.
Funny enough, I actually thought the elves from the book were more interesting than the dwarves.
Intro scene, before fight of three dwarves when first got disarmed by the orcs, was awesome,
i'm more excited for story and cinematic desu, combat don't need to be extreme superb, just satisfying.
Graphics are pretty, nothing bad with that.
I find it hard to trust other people when it comes to game length. It's one of the few things where I find that devs are more honest than players.
For example, one of the last RPGs I played was Tyranny. Putting aside what I think about the quality of the game, it was maybe a bit on the short side for this type of game but still a decent 25 hours. But then I go online and see people complain about how it's so short they finished it in 3-5 hours which is completely retarded, and at the same time people who claim one playthrough cost them 50 hours which is only slightly less retarded (but at least theoretically possible).
Yeah, but Obsidian games and games in crpg category,
like when dialogs and all the roleplay are all in reading texts with a lot of choices,
are variable in game length.
It depends on your reading skills/speed, how much u wanna do side quests etc.
With this game that won't be the case, or not as much, i think.
>The Dwarves
>dwarves implies multiple
>its single player
wew looks like ill be pirating
Pirated it from BTN
its alright, 5/10, its really really short and disappointing though.
>Have multi-characters with action gameplay AND micromanagement
Pirate or not, it's not gonna be bad.
They should have made it something like XCOM, a turn-based strategy. The action element of it is extremely weak and holds the game down, and it doesn't follow the book(s) well at all from what I saw. It was far too "Open ended" without a proper objective.
It was definitely solid and fun, but the fun quickly wore off leaving just solid dwarves. Really disappointed it isn't a TBS.
Don't wanna be off-topic as much, but as i heard that
Dragon Age devs teased something like "Next Dragon age maybe gonna have gameplay like Xcom", so
we'll see about that one.
I agree with you, btw. And something like that soon gonna comes out, it's called
Expedition: Vikings, check it out if you want/didn't already.
I hate the Dragon Age games, but thanks.
I haven't heard of that Vikings game, so I'll go check that out ASAP. Thanks pal!
There is Expedition: Conquistadores game out there, and the same devs making game like it just Viking concept.
You welcome!
Oh hey, I actually heard of that but didn't get to play it. Nato.
>Next Dragon age maybe gonna have gameplay like Xcom
As shit as Bioware is these days, I'm still going to check that game out if that's true.
I just hope they're not talking about another shitty Facebook game.
>Expedition: Vikings
Neat. I loved Expedition: Conquistador.
Mordheim flopped hard
To be honest, i hoped for a long tome something like Xcom or Age of Wonders 3 comes out in epic fantasy settings, and to be good as Xcom.
Not a fan of micromanagement (pillars, baldurs, tyranny,..) but turn based is completely fine with me if it is executed right.
That's because it was shit.
>mfw reading some of the comments on that article
You'd think by now I'd have learned not to read online comments.
From what I saw it looks pretty fun. The characters seem nice as well.
store.steampowered.com
I think it's officially out now on steam, check it out guys
Yup, it's available now.
I'm still gonna pirate it first, but if it's good I'll buy it.
Yea, cause it was turn based strategy with rules as close to original as possible.
Meanwhile TW:Warhammer is best selling as both TW and WH vidya in history
>want XCOM clones.
XCOM is already bullshit and casual as it is. Why would you want companies to find a way to fuck up TBS games now?
finally i can relive the Hobbit and Warhammer experience
I feel like I would've liked Mordheim a lot better if it used a top-down perspective with point and click controls.
Using third-person WASD controls for a turn based game just feels awkward as fuck.
Well, cant argue with that.
>Yea, cause it was turn based strategy with rules as close to original as possible.
The first Space Hulk died because of the same reason.
Then the sequel made it more vidya but it was too late to win back the fans and the studio closed down.
Sorry guys, either game gonna be good or not so, ost is masterpiece, cuz'
IT IS FAKING MY FAV BAND!
>Using third-person WASD controls for a turn based game just feels awkward as fuck.
It was always destined for consoles. That's why the control set is clumsy as hell.
Necromunda in nu-Xcom style when?
Its pretty comfy desu.
>dat OST by Blind Guardian
Blind Guardian seems to like doing tracks for video games.
They also worked on Sacred 2 and even appeared as NPCs in the game.
So much shilling from samefag Eurocuck dev in broken English
>no co-op
Missed opportunity, also seems too expensive for what is is and its lacking co-op on top of that
Sir please just try the game thank you
I know right! My favorite band of all times, forever and Somewhere Far Beyond!
Ofc, i'm not fan of Sacred 2 as i am of Sacred 1 (gold), but that ost, and everything else made by them...... #music_gods_walks_the_earth
