Look, I know everyone wants to point to one guy and say "HE MADE THE GAME" but truth be told it's always a team effort. Look at Inafune and Schafer, when they broke away to do their own thing everyone had 100% faith in them. Then it turned out they're fucking hacks who took all the credit for something that was a team effort and couldn't make a game with their own team to save their life.
I guarantee you 100% this game will be mediocre at best, the team that created MGS1-3 is long gone. He can cocktease you for years with weird trailers, it won't make the game any less of a disappointment. Get emotionally involved at your own risk, maybe you'll finally learn your lesson.

>emotionally involved
I'm hoping mgsv sucked because of money hungry konami
Connor Anderson
Why would you think that when the truth is know?
Yes, Konami were greedy kikes but:
>Kojima pissed money away at every oppurtunity >Comissioned and paid for dozens of songs he threw in the bin >Was overly ambitious about what he could achieve in the time he had >Key people from the MGS1-3 team were missing so the game was always gonna suck
Colton Baker
MGSV was always about what was there more than what wasn't. It was unfinished because of Konami, but what was finished was so fucking bad.
Sebastian Howard
But the game play was great. The story was unfinished.
Brandon Ortiz
Don't forget how MGS2 & 3 were better games despite having far fewer years in development than V, or how Kojima claimed he was attempting to mimic western open world games rather than sticking to his usual style.
Also, as an aside, I find it hilarious that people are praising the Death Stranding trailer despite it having no gameplay. If any dev other than Kojima pulled that shit, Sup Forums would be ripping that trailer to shreds.
Nathaniel Rodriguez
Exactly.
I don't buy the claim that more dev time would've saved V when what was there was an absolute trainwreck.
Joshua Young
Venom didn't care about Quiet.
I will point out this fact in every single mg/s thread until all mg/s discussion dies.
Charles Reed
Every faggot on youtube is making videos like OMG HYPE KOJIMA DOES IT AGAIN when I'm sat there thinking "That's it? A CG trailer that's nothing but a cocktease to have people talking about the game for months based on random bullshit".
I have no idea what the game is about or how it'll play, likely because they don't either because they haven't even fucking started making the game yet.
Dylan Baker
The guy could at least have the decency to say “A Kojima Productions game” because that's still technically giving credit to the whole team.
But no, he always has to make it about him
Ian Adams
Rather, Kojima did a piss poor job of showing Venom cared about Quiet.
Mason Bell
I used to think it was that his team revered his leadership so much they credited him with everything, now after all I've heard and seen of him it seems more like he steals his teams glory and takes credit for everything they come up with and presents it as his own ideas.
Daniel Cruz
>Inafune
Inafune's not even a fucking director. Schafer, Kojima, etc are. They at least make the game and over see it. Inafune is some guy in an office who gets funding for projects and okays them.
btw, the creator of Mega Man and the director of the first two games is Akira Kitamura. Inafune was just some artist (who didn't design mega Man, Kitamura designed Roll and Rock).
William Davis
Even if mgsv was his fault... One bad game in a series of nothing but gold? Nigga can fuck up once or twice he gave me mgs
Austin Price
>Even if mgsv was his fault... One bad game in a series of nothing but gold?
MGS4 was just as poor, but it wasn't open world so it wasn't as obvious a failure. The story was a mess, you can't deny.
Joshua Thompson
Have you ever playing a game by Kojima? He does everything, nigga.
Noah Ward
No he did a perfect job at showing how uninterested Venom was in Quiet and how he didn't care about her.
Thomas Stewart
4 is a fucking mess.
Peace Walker was a better game but had a terrible story.
Jayden Gonzalez
>steals his teams glory I feel the same way about Spielberg and especially James Cameron.
jk, urafaggot
Hunter Allen
To be honest I loved 4. It had some really really strong points and some really really weak points. Like laughably weak what am I even doing here.
But old snake, the first two zones, the final boss fight, revisiting shadow Moses, that scene where Meryl calls snake old snake and his stamina bar goes down.
Fuck man I just love it. Plus the gun porn. Also people complaining about the length of the cutscenes fucked mgsv. Those stupid god damn tapes.
Isaiah Brooks
Oh come on, I didn't much like V but Venom was at least a little bit attached to Quiet.
>Tried to jump into an ammonia filled room to save her >Protected her from Kaz >Danced in the rain with her >Wandered around like a lost puppy dog in the sand when she decided to leave him
Tyler Fisher
It's just as true with Directors of movies though, Spielberg came out with some flops: Crystal Skull, The BFG, War of the Worlds etc. He hasn't made an iconic movie since the early 90's.
James Camerons last released movie was Avatar, need I say more.
Aiden Lewis
It's definitely got some good shit in there, but to say Kojima was pushing out 10/10 insta classic one after another and MGSV was his first disappointing release is a lie.
Jose Green
konami ruined mgs5
Chase Jenkins
Kojima did just as much to ruin it as Konami did.
see
James Rivera
Nah, Snake didn't care for her.
After he ""wandered around like a lost puppy dog" , pequod picked him up at the edge of the cliff after he turned off the message. WHILE Quiet was watching.
Kayden Peterson
>>Protected her from Kaz
Good cop bad cop, she was just a prisoner of war and Venom was trying to get her to talk, but she wouldn't so he let her go, kicked her out, fired her, laid her off.
