This game is BOMBASS.
I mean ass that is the BOMB. REALLY GOOD ASS. I like this game.
SML > SML2
Nah. It's pretty good, it's different and it has Wario. There's no shame in liking it more
OH NOOO WHAT A CRAZY OPINION~~!!
ESPECIALLY ONA BOARD WHERE NOBODY HAS A BAD THING TO SAY ABOUT THE NSMB GAMES!!
YOURE SO UNIQUE
TRUMPED
I liked it a lot as a kid, but going back to it the game is way too easy and simplistic overall. It sure did look and sound nice, though.
The NSMB games (even the kinda shitty first one) blow it away in terms of level design.
Probably a nostalgiafag. SML2 is a good game and has some pretty unique levels and enemies. But the actual gameplay is not as good as other Mario games.
What the fuck kind of question is that? Fucking bait or something? NSMB pales in comparison to this
No. It's pretty unique in the series. A lot of level themes that are outside the box for a Mario game. And there's no Bowser. In fact, the entire game is pretty odd.
I always wonder how Sup Forums felt about NSMB when it first came out.
fucking this
fucking faggot OP. how fucking old are you. 11? 12?
KILL YOURSELF
The main reason Mario Land 2 is my 3rd favorite 2D Mario game is because of its really interesting and fun level designs.
Also, I am not a nostalgiafag.
>baby's first post on Sup Forums
The NSMB games are easy too. In fact, they are probably easier than SML2, especially NSMB2.

good thread
My first Mario game, played on a friend's Game Boy Pocket when at Summer Camp.
I'll never play it again, but I remember it fondly.

Not at all, SML2 deserves more attention honestly due to how unique the areas & bosses were, plus it introduced Wario & had a dope ass OST. All I feel NSMB has over this game is tighter controls & I like exploring to find the Star Coins.
Yo, user, the Star Maze music was better:

I was glad to see it briefly referenced in Sticker Star.
So?
And no, the NSMB games overall are certainly not easier than SML2. Those games can get pretty brutal in later worlds and secret stages. SML2 only has Wario's Castle going for it, but that's only one stage and is sort of a testament for why SML2 is easy and simplistic (its physics aren't great for precision platforming).
When I played NSMB2 though, it was really easy, because there was so many coins you could get, it resulted in many 1-ups.

He meant in terms of platforming and level design, not how much of 1-ups you can get in one level, dumbfuck.
That doesn't really mean anything since 1-ups in that series are basically just collectibles in the form of a (now vestigal) traditional life system. Hell, these games even reward you for maxing out the life counter.
no, you would be a faggot if it was the other way around

Still, the NSMB games are easy. I beat NSMBU without losing much lives.
Ugh, the Star Coins have far overstayed their welcome. They just put pressure on an otherwise enjoyable exploration.
Yeah, the physics in that game are pretty awkward. Everything is too floaty and the screen is too zoomed in. The first gb mario game is even worse though
SML3>SML
Beat me. Wah ha ha! Wario!
