Besides the Super Nintendo, do you guys think this is the best Nintendo console?
This system is very nostalgic to me, as it was one of the first systems I ever played along with the GBA and the NES. I didn't have a bunch of games when I was little, but I loved playing what I did have. Some of the games I had were Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario: TTYD, Melee, Double Dash, Battle for Bikini Bottom, Madagascar, the Lego Star Wars games, Sonic Heroes, and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. While there were a number of great games I never had the chance to play as a kid (Pikmin, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Sonic Adventure DX, Viewtiful Joe, Tales of Symphonia, etc.), the Gamecube was still a system that I hold in high regard.

imo the N64 was better. Most Gamecube games have a superior N64 predecessor. Gamecube was still great though.

Aside from SNES my favorite Nintendo home console is the Wii. That is not a joke.

Loved the Wii. That would be my 3rd favorite. Punch Out and Zack and Wiki are some of my favorite games ever.

No. everything coming out for PS2 and Xbox was way more exciting. >WW was boring and not fun >SF sucked >no third party support >mario sports out the ass the saving grace was Resident Evil

Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2 and F-Zero GX were real contenders. I know Monkey Ball Deluxe exists, but the lack of a dead zone in the Gamecube control stick vs PS2 and Xbox makes the Gamecube originals superior if only for the controller. Viewtiful Joe also ran better on the Cube and that's probably my favorite gen 6 game so there's that, though the PS2 version is ultimately fine enough and has Dante. I also love the fuck out of TTYD and Skies of Arcadia Legends, and think they go toe to toe with the best of the PS2 JRPG's, but PS2 has sheer numbers there and many JRPG's that are just as good if not better so it can't really compete.
For the most part I agree with you, but Gamecube had its hits.
