>Not removing every node and refilling them in to maximize stats
You're fine.
I'm glad GGG finally ported PoE to the Vita.
unlocking every node is not hard. filling every node with +4 is hard
So do I not have to do anything with the blank spaces?
Holy fuck. I hardly had like 2 trees filled out for each character at the end. How is this possible?
What?! This isn't Pokémon!
This really
whats your game time?
almost finished the main story, doubting to plat it since i find it fun
Took me 102 hours to plat
What's the earliest point in the game I can grind reliably?
Isn't it like basically the end of the game?
After you get the airship like 85% through the story.
Don't think there's a point in grinding until you unlock the final area (sin) on the world map. Then you'll be able to access everything, upgrade the sphere grid and beat all the optional bosses.
>playing ffx
Yes. There is no doubt you have autism.
I've beat it over 5 times.
How many times it has been beaten is irrelevant.
The second you play FFX, you have autism.
FUG. I'm feeling seriously underpowered here
What the fuck is this? I never played FFX exactly because this skill tree bullshit looks like it was needlessly complicated, is it linear like the one in XIII and just looks busy as fuck?
>tfw never played FFX
>linear like the one in XIII and just looks busy as fuck?
yes
Not as linear, sometimes you get to choose the path you want to learn first. But it's not very complicated either, most of the characters are basically restricted to a single path on the grid until lategame where everyone can learn everything.
The skill tree is extremely straight forward. Just pick a direction and go. Not as straight forward as 13 as there are different directions that give different bonuses, but it is extremely easy to understand.
>game runs at 30 fps on PC
>Not ripping out the entire sphere grid and neatly re-organizing it
Nah your fine, this guy on the other hand
youtube.com
I like his videos but jesus christ.
this
Its where my autism ended for FFX at least
Its honestly not hard to do, once you get the equipment for the Don Tonberry AP trick you can farm 99 sphere levels in minutes.
fuck, only torrent of ffx on tpb is 33gb and includes both :-(
>Max evasion and accuracy instead of luck with max agility
Max luck makes both stats redundant and makes their caps much lower, agility stops giving benefits after I think 170.
>needlessly complicated
Nah its actually really simple.
>is it linear like the one in XIII and just looks busy as fuck?
Once you reach key sphere's later in the game it opens up and you can basically customize your characters however you want.
>xp isn't shared with all party members
fuck this game. I hate having to swap every character in battles just so they get xp.
who should I focus on leveling?
I hated that too but I hardly noticed it because I was always swapping out characters to deal with certain enemies, as everyone was useful except Khimari so he just kinda rotted.
To be honest I can't really blame them its a PS2 game. Consoles could have easily been 60FPS but they would have had to completely rebuild much of the game. Some guy was playing around 60FPS in cutscenes and got the opening running at 60. He had to modify the entire thing for it.
Framerate honestly has no effect on this sort of game anyway.
I did Tidus, Lulu and Auron.
Depends where you are in the game.
Kimahri is always a good choice
There's an obvious linear path like there is in XIII, but imagine all the different classes are wrapping around each other and you can deviate to another at certain points.
>subliminally beautiful patterns
If you aren't sure how to use a word, please don't use it. It makes you look like an ass in the end.
Kimahri is never a good choice.
wakka is a really stupid and annoying character
He is before that one fight.
he seems weak as fuck
I first got steal for him and afterwards life, to use as resser/stealer.
strongest late game i noticed so far are tidus, wakka, auron and luna for certain enemys, but my team is now mainly those 3
One of the mods for the PC ver. allowed you to enable EXP share, which was a fucking god send.
Tidus, Rikku, Auron, Yuna.
Rikku because at some parts of the game you have to fight with Tidus, Rikku and Wakka only. Auron because he's the strongest character until late game. Yuna because she's your healer.
>star playing this game a week ago
>put in 30 hours
>love it
>controller breaks
>keyboard is shit and doesn't feel right
i ordered a new controller on black friday and it won;t be here till Thursday. the wait is killing me.
also, i want to fuck yuna
holy fug thank you user
I want to fuck all 3. They're all great.
tfw I like wakka because everyone is shit or retarded and he's the least offensive
>180 luck
You fucked up.
rikku, from what I've seen so far is a whore and her vag probably smells like potatoes.
Oil and potatoes, to be specific.
Doesn't decrease my desire any.
You don't know what you're talking about.
180 luck is more than enough to max damage all super bosses.
didn't think of it like that... but it's true.
...
It's true, more then that doesn't actually help, and is just even more immense of a waste of time.
>Empty nodes everywhere
No, you dont have autism. You're just a casual faggot
I'm stat maxing FFX.
I'm already wasting my time. Might as well go all in.
Max luck also takes a fucktonne of more effort since to get luck spheres you have to kill the arena Earth Eater iirc which can be a bitch to farm.
What's wrong with complicated skill trees? If a skill tree is simple, it might aswell be just a menu.
Not that I ever played FFX. But I like myself some huge skill trees.
>sometimes you get to choose the path you want to learn first
unless you decide to go a different path right from the start thus fucking up your character then you really dont have a choice as every chance to change the path is locked behind lvl 3 and 4 keystones
That fight scales to his stats anyway.
The Sphere grid in X is like 9 quadrants with each character in it's quadrant until about ¾ into the game where you get to locks which allow you to move into each other characters quadrants. There are also some bridges where you can jump across, like Rikku I think can choose 2-3 ways to go when you first get her.
heres some weapons grade autism for you
youtube.com
tidus wakka and rikku because thats the most powerful endgame team
Tidus, Wakka, Rikku, Auron are definitely worth leveling up, Yuna comes in useful for avoiding death abilities by summoning.
If you use aeons for that, there's no need to level Yuna.
I'm confused. This is pretty much what I have with 100 hours in.
Where did he spend the extra 500 hours?
Pretty much. Is fun to switch Yuna to Aurons sphere side and make her a physical attacker too however.
I have to download this game again now that I have a more powerful computer.
Wakka only becomes good if you play Blitzball but why would you do this?
But you want to get spells/skills to allow you to survive and steal for about three hours.
Same reason you'd use Barrett in FF7, highest damage potential on his overdrive.
Blitzball is shit tho
>Ulillillia
>Voice is only on left channel
Grinding endlessly.
>high-level FFX combat.mp4
Yeah you got a good point, having all those key spheres early is great.
