What videos games do you genuinely enjoy playing ?
Other urls found in this thread:
Stuff like FTL, Timesplitters, TF2, and all that.
Overwatch
Ace Combat Zero
Hitman Blood Money
Crash Bandicoot 2
Dark Souls
Metal Slug
Armored Core
many more I cant be arsed to list because I'm not a jaded person and still actually like video games
Classic and "retro" FPS (DooM -exclude 3-, Serious Sam's , Painkiller) , Stealth (Hitman , Dishonored) and some indies with quality (Hotline Miami, Enter the Gungeon)
>FTL
Ive not given this a chance yet
what are some things you like about it
Will kitty be okay?
I'm not sure , i hope so
The last game that I thoroughly enjoyed, and felt inclined to play again after completion, was Dark Souls 2.
I bought Overwatch but it just made me sad and wish I could play vanilla TF2 again.
The gruelling challenges it can present, the frantic nature of the combat, the random aspect of it, and the feeling you get after conquering a difficult enemy.
Undertale was the most enjoyable gaming experience I've had recently.
I play Darkest Dungeon a lot, but it comes with a lot of bullshit. I wouldn't know if I'd call that pure enjoyment.
Who in his right mind plays a game because it's popular and not because he enjoys it? Is Sup Forums just trying to rationalize popular games' popularity again?
Payday 2
Hitman Blood money
.
About the only games I can think of right now.
>FTL
I like the game a lot, but one thing it suffers from is a huge brick-wall of difficulty on the final boss.
I'm all for difficulty and permadeath; leave it there. I just think they should ramp up the prior sectors' difficulty, just so you don't waste your time with a build that won't make it in the end, anyway.
Space Station 13. When you don't restrain yourself to some job or tiny office, the station feels like an ever changing adventure full of shenanigans, perils, creative manifestations, and interactivity.
A shame I can't go into better serial in order to articulate myself properly, and even more of a shame that my right wrist is broken for the time being.
The Project Diva games. Especially now that Future Tone is out and pretty much has all the tracks from previous games except for a few.
Every couple of months I end up booting up Skyrim, rolling an imperial and just running around crypts roleplaying as a Paladin-type character. There's something so satisfying about it that it makes me look past all the flaws Skyrim has to the point that I have even more fun than when I went in fresh-faced. Hell, every time Dawnbreaker nukes a whole room of skellies or nord zombies, I get a stiffie.
Jesus Christ, that intro is actually kinda scary. That fucking mask terrifies me.
Last game I enjoyed was modded skyrim. I used to play souls games endlessly but ds3 is shallow trash and I can't bring myself to boot up the old ones with dead multiplayer
>Sup Forums
>enjoying anything that is popular
i gave up on souls games after buying ds2
Monster hunter series
Cladun 1 and 2
Rune factory series
Pokemon series
Tales of the world radiant mythology trilogy
Metroidvanias Castlevanias
Summon night swordcraft story trilogy
Disgaea 2 DHD
Pre ZXY yugioh games.
I don't care if most of them aren't popular and literally nobody on Sup Forums discuses them.
I think it was meant to be cute, but they failed miserably.
This is why anime eyes don't work in 3d.
You get shit like this.
monster hunter
tf2
sonic games
Hoi3 and back Paradox
AGEOD engine games
Been balls deep in Revolutions Under Siege lately, I rather enjoy the tedious micro
Detective is best job
>Revolutions Under Siege
That's the type of obscurer strategy video games I hope I will get into some day when I have the time
Like War in the East, Rise of Prussia, Thirty Year's War, Pike and Shot and so on
Pokemon, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and Splatoon. Maybe it's just because I'm miserable, and it's not to say I'm not enjoying other games, but I'm having a hard time finding games that really absorb me into their little worlds like these ones did. I want to play other mystery dungeon games because roguelikes are fun but I never actually get around to playing them.
I really love Harvest Moon-style games too, but the only one that manages to keep me playing is FoMT.
Rome Total War.
The best strategy game (apart from Company of Heroes 1).
World of Tanks
Earth Defense Force series
Star Wars: Empire at War
Easily my most played games by a long shot
Sonic adventure 2
Ratchet and clank
ffviii
Dragon warrior monsters
Yeah, that is kind of scary.
I love Miku as much as the next guy, but this feels like a scene out of a Five Nights At Freddy's game. The Miku animatronic is trying to get to you and you're desperately trying to lock her out so you'll be safe.
Every day, thousands of cats die.
Minecraft
Mario games from the SNES and NES days
Penny racers gba
Road trip shifting gears gba
All of them, i don't play games that i don't enjoy
Don't bully her.
Warcraft 3
Star Wars: Battlefront
their comfiness knows no bounds
>want to play TF2
>crashes with open source AMD drivers
>the proprietary drivers are outdated pieces of shit
t-thanks volvo
SPORE
>WC3
Fuck man I'm going to have to redownload tonight. I miss the comfy orc campaign mission where it's your and Grom vs 4 Human settlements.
Miku please stop.
You're scaring everyone.
the campaign is stellar but I'm talking more specifically about the custom games.
custom games made the game immortal. it's simply infinitely replayable.
I love RTSs even if I suck at them, SupCom FA being the one I love the most by a lot.
I also enjoy borderlands 1 and battleborn. I know Borderlands stole all its ideas from other people and that battleborn is a MOBA FPS with bad graphics, but I love them both and would play them anytime with people that wanted to play with me.
Touch of advice, the 2nd US civil war AGEOD game is a pretty good starting point, pretty easy to explore the mechanics.
Got Thirty Year's War on the backlog
I wish cats didn't have to die. Dogs too. All of our small friends. I know they have to, it's all part of nature and we would face overpopulation issues. But it hurts seeing our friends leave us much too soon.
And thats just domestics.
Imagine the millions and millions of unseen lives that are snuffed out each day, only to be replaced just as easily by the next generation of animal.
this one right here
I bet im the only one on this place who plays this
this series was really good until they went 3D shit at least to my point of view
Shut up Kitty Karen
>casuls
Get your life together user
None that I can run on my computer.
Being poor is suffering.
I like this dead sack of shit
save'd
Right now? PokemonGo. I waited until the fad hoppers left before I even tried it, now I love it. It's fun fighting to keep the gyms against all the other dedicated players who remained. The gyms in my town change ownership every hour, even the ones leveled up to 10. I enjoy catching pokemon in this game a lot more than in the main games, since you actually have to coordinate and focus rather than mash a button until a Pokemon is weak.
Also nice to have an excuse to get out of the house and walk around just for fun. It's hard to do that in an area where there is nowhere to go and nothing to do otherwise.
pls someone add "in korea" at the end
That's pretty pathetic
It's not about when we or others have to leave, user, but about what we do while we are still here.
So be happy, don't waste your time!
Cats are really overpopulated right now for their own good. They are cute, and they are invasive species who for example already wiped out some bird species in different places. But muh cute and fluffy. They are supposed to breed like rats, but there's no demand for that anymore. I wonder what humanity is planning to do with this shit.
hell be fine
>going out and getting exercise is pathetic
>vidya should only be played in the dark corner of your room where no one can see the pizza crust coagulating around your shirt collar
nah she would be fine just with a cold stare, it's her sagging cheeks and godzillian singing smile. Same with kigurumis, the scariest part is the smile. Sometimes another figures of the same company end up looking like a mikudayo too, for reference
Not as pathetic as the rest of us are for hanging around here.
Sims 4
My favorite games are the Batman: Arkham series.
>I enjoy catching pokemon in this game a lot more than in the main games, since you actually have to coordinate and focus rather than mash a button until a pokemon is weak.
...what? You've literally just described 90% of Pokemon GO's gameplay.
I'm trying to give it another chance with the Gen 2 update coming in a couple days, but this game is just fucking obnoxious.
>STILL buggy as hell
>STILL takes a good minute to load a wild pokemon battle
>GPS is laggy as fuck and I have to stand in one spot for a few minutes just to get the avatar to catch up
>Catching pokemon is nothing more than flicking the ball at the pokemon, which requires no more effort than waiting for the pokemon to stop leaping off of the ground
>Any pokemon that doesn't inherently start powerful is useless, giving no sense of progression
>The gym system as a whole
>Laggy as fuck, and is literally just mindlessly mashing the screen until you've beaten enough of the opposing pokemon for you to win
>No PVP
>No trading
>Pokemon only really vary depending on your location if you're near a lake or a park
>Drains battery like a motherfucker, even with the battery saver on
Thanks for that.

duck game, havent played it in a while, but i see it as just a matchmaking system and larger fanbase away from being a legit comp game
TF2. Nothing even comes close to the amount of fun content it has.
>Ugly kitten
I didn't wanted to remember, OP.
Duck Game is legitimately my favorite PvP game ever made.
youtu.be
It's just nature shit, homie.
Better question, why you play game because they are popular?
What is wrong with you?
Just why?
Not really nature. We brought the cats in and let them overpopulate.
>It's nature
>H-here hawk, have tons of kittens
If anything this is a perverse form of nature, where we basically feed hawks kittens because of our negligence.
>SWTOR
it is unironically my favorite game of 2015, it needs a bigger playerbase tho
nothing wrong with enjoying some good ol Sims
Humans are part of nature. Nature has several examples of one species cataclysmically changing everything. For example, cyanobacteria and the great oxygenation event.
Thank you for sharing this
Godhand. It's so fucking JUICY.
Didnt you know about ugly?
crazy cat lady fujoSHIT detected you stink!
It's pretty bad compared to 3, but it's still addicting for me.
>he didn't read the story
Rip kot
none pretty much
i just give up too easily on games
though i've been playing dead rising 3 lately and it's not bad
I was actually following Undertale back when it was just a demo. Loved it then, love it now. It didn't deserve the shit the fanbase has done to it.
Someday, far in the future, we will have figured out how to make everyone immortal. All of us will be at the peak of physical health and beauty forever, and we will have bestowed the same benefits upon our pets. Agriculture and clean energy will have entered a new era, where food and greenery is as bountiful as we desire and our abundance of energy feeds our advanced technology. We will have developed wonderfully comfortable and ergonomic cities, in which everyone finds it easy to maintain a relaxing yet invigorating lifestyle. Some will long for wide open spaces and quiet, and they find it on the great many habitable planets we've found among the stars. Long-distance travel to these distant worlds will be accomplished in expedient and comfortable fashion. After hundreds of years full of enjoyment, visiting world after world, developing cities, experiencing the new and unfamiliar, and finding plenty of time to relax throughout it all, we will take a deep breath of the fresh air on yet another world and feel a deep satisfaction in knowing that this wonderful feeling will continue forever.
>That struggling
Can't make it past the first second, if it was as an adult cat I could probably stomach it, but not this.
I love the halo franchise. Halo is my favorite game
I want this guy to narrate a lot of animal documentaries now.
And I'll be here, in my mom's basement, playing video games.
The one thing I can't stand is seeing animals abused or mistreated, be it by humans or by other animals.
Every time I see a picture lik OP's I have to get up and go cuddle my cat.
You're probably a 18-20 year old shut in who lives with his parents and can't handle reality.
No, I'm 24 years old and I'm not a shut in. You don't have to project so hard, user.
>24 year old who doesn't live with his parents
>not a shut in
>posting on Sup Forums on Sup Forums at midnight on a friday night about how a picture of a cat on the street made him go cuddle his kitty, while people literally starve to death and cats are eaten alive in the streets
Jesus Christ that may be worse.
...
Picture like this make me really sad
STALKER: Call of Pripyat with one mod; Misery mod.
Cant wait for 2.2 update.
