I'm a faggot who wants to play a FPS game where all you do is being a generic dude who does mindless killing with tacticool weapons. What is the best game that let's me do this?
Well with the right mods Fallout New Vegas fits that bill sort of.
Elijah Torres
It's not that great, but Goldeneye: Rogue Agent had the feeling of mindless killing to me. Some of the weapons are pretty fun to use as well and it has dual wielding. Old game though
Nolan Robinson
What about Far Crys?
Angel Reed
And you're not playing as James Bond, just a random guy
David Murphy
Never heard of this, what's it like? >inb4 google it Going through a NV playthrough myself, but the role-play aspect makes me act like a good samaritan. Would do one later though, thanks!
Levi Morris
Sounds like you need to play Soldier of Fortune 2 my man.
Mindless slaying and pretty awesome bullet wounds.
Brayden Fisher
it's like CSS but sci fi
Aiden Johnson
FarCry3
You're a generic dude, who in sequences goes all "omg whats happening? we'll be safe trust me we'll find a way outta this!" But as soon as the sequences end, you go all rambo on the nigger asses
Jordan Johnson
I found that it's way more satisfying to go stealth on Far Crys, don't know why. Maybe I find the gunplay pretty lacking, or at least that's what I think with 3. Forgot to mention, I'd appreciate it more if it's a PC game. Thanks anyways, friend.
Asher Peterson
it's like a sci fi version of css (but SP)
Leo Davis
Second SoF 2, 1 isn't too bad either (it's better IMO), but it's less tacticool.
The first Far Cry is dated, but it's also my most favorite one. You might want to give it a try. It's kind of hard, though. Get ATI x64 update if you will. it gives you 64bit exes which make things a bit less crashy.
Luke Rodriguez
Will look into it, thanks! How Sci fi are we talking? Aliens and plasma? plus, I finished FC3 already and it's really hard to find a place where there's a lot of pirates to kill.
Ryan Johnson
Just Cause 2 is pretty fun
Henry Stewart
JC2 is fun until the novelty wears off. After a while the world feels really empty. Also, >fps

Levi Moore
did you just unironically say fallout is a good fps game
Colton Phillips
Ever play Painkiller?
Ryder Gomez
...
Noah Wright
Not sure if this is up your alley but very tactical.
Isaiah Perez
Say no more
Mason Wilson
No, redpill me on it.
Caleb Perez
basically this
Levi Morales
You get trapped in purgatory and gotta blast hella devils with a stake gun that pins shit to walls. Featuring other guns as well.
Xavier Thompson
This is a good choice as well.
Matthew Ramirez
All that thread and no one mentioned Call of Duty.
Wyatt Fisher
Now this looks pretty fun. I might have a fetish for tactical insertion games. Thanks a lot mate lmao I had this game once but I couldn't figure out heads nor tail what to do in the first level. I think it was the drug apartment? nice. I'd check it out later. Thanks friendo!
So far I am three for three with you. We basically like the same stuff.
How about Republic Commando?
Mason Ramirez
Which Call of Duty, though? I blaze through CoD games pretty quickly, so I'm wondering if there's one that would last for quite a while. Never actually much of a Star Wars kind of guy, but I'll look into any game that a stranger on the internet recommends if he says he's a three for three with me. Consider it listed. This is actually pretty cool now that I know what the gameplay is like.
Henry Richardson
Any FPS game that lets you mutilate people with guns and machetes and blow their head off is pretty good desu

Besides maybe Time Splitters 2 or maybe like Rainbow 6: Raven Shield I can't really think of anything else.
Christopher Anderson
It never hit the popularity to become one of the big ones, but a lot of people, myself included, considered it to be the true doom 3. At the very least it's a spiritual successor or classic doom. I'm not the one that recommended it, but I agree with him 100%.
Robert Morgan
Painkiller is nothing like Doom, it's a pretty arena shooter with bad enemy and weapon design and balance. It's fun, but very shallow.
Gavin Hernandez
I've heard countless things about Time Splitters, and I've been wanting to try out some old R6es. Will check those two out.
Austin Jackson
>Sof2 >not Sof1 Shit taste my man. Also confirmed for not replaying recently you have to alter the hex file just to get it widescreen with fixed hud. This. I literally got bored of it by the time I finished the demo years ago.
Gabriel Young
Good lord that gameplay is horrible
>not bunnyhopping to go fast >can't aim

I don't remember a huge difference between Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2 but it was a decade ago.
What's the pros and cons my man?

Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein 2009.
The first isn't too tacticool, the second one is, thanks to the weapon modding system. Ever wanted to kill Nazis with a suppressed MP40 with a drum magazine? Now you can!
Gabriel Ortiz
What about New Order? would you recommend that?
Mason Lewis
I haven't played it myself. Heard good stuff about it, though.
