I am LVL 22 on Chapter III and fightning on hunts that are above my lvl is fun as fuck. It feels like an anime Witcher 3 but with more possibilities.

KHII just felt so much smoother and more responsive and I thought that the Data Battles were some really well designed boss fights. What's with modern games and having all those floaty and clunky controls for the sake of 'realistic' movement and animations? What happened, Tokyo team?

KH feels more crazy especially 2 (the fucking xaldin and Xigbar boss battles) but XV feels like every hit hits fucking hard (iron giant breaking the fucking ground and oneshoot you with his slow swings).

my problem with FFXV outside of it's floaty movement is that Noctis has such ridiculous recovery on everything he does I feel like half the time I have to pre-emptively end my attacks early so i he can recover and dodge in time

that and the fact that half the time I attack I get locked into some baked animation because of a link strike or a blindside or something

that being said i do like the heavy hitting moves - but the cons outweigh the pros for me. i mean FFXV's combat isn't terrible but it's not really great either.
