It's a better idol JRPG than Toyko Mirage Sessions. There's a lot of extras like making your music videos or something like that. It was worth the price when I bought it during the E3 sale (around 90% off).
My MAJOR complaint is you need a guide to make sure you don't miss any event. Just like in most IF games, the best ending is tied to the events you see.
I suspected their would be a lot of tined/missable shit, as is typical of CH. Thanks for the response.
>Was it any good?
Absolutely not! The game uses rare drops as gating for story progression. The problem is that the rare drops have a ridiculously low droprate. I spent an hour farming for four drops, just to get to the next mid-level area.
Why hasn't this been ported to PC yet?
It will be soon, just like all IF games
An hour isn't that bad
This game probably has one of the best and deepest turn base battle system ever made.To bad the normalfags on Sup Forums will
>LOL WEEB SHIT
Yah, I know that is the theory, but it has been a long as time already.... meanwhile every NEP NEP game has already got ported
It's not better than tms but it's ok
Buy if you have nothing to do and some money
It's on sale for 7 99 80% right now buy it fool.
It's okay but good god the Platinum will drive you insane with the grind.
by the end it basically becomes "try to nuke the enemy before they can nuke you" damage race. Especially when doing the sidequests for the true ending since you will be fighting hard bosses with only 4 party memebers
It's so damn grindy. I plat'd it but good lord, I never want to play it again.
Yeah, the "10,000 enemies slain" trophy took forever for me and that was after getting everything else.
and fucking Fairy Fencer F ADF has THE SAME FUCKING TROPHY
It, the weapon proficiency, and the support trophy I grinded out at around the same time. Was glad to be done with that game.
>better than TMS
No it wasn't. The combo system in the combat is fun and feels rewarding, but it's way more shallow of an idol/anime game than TMS.
It's an alright game for the price, paid $10 before it started getting marked down to $5, but I wouldn't have seen it being worth more than that.
>its better than tms
Do you like telling lies on the internet.
OP, its an okay game if you have no other jrpgs to play and have an itch no matter how shallow as hell the battle system it.
I assume you have at least some kind of experience/tolerance with CH games? Because if you're just a casual player you might find it pretty shitty.
As far as CH games go, it has some cool ideas regarding dungeons, which makes it slightly less offensive in the "recycling assets" departments. Instead of having a small number of dungeons and pasting them over and over as new dungeons, there's a small number of dungeons but they're sprawling, and you get deeper and deeper into them as you progress through the game.
The combat system suffers from CH's syndrome of trying to cram too much shit at once to give you a false sense of depth (see original Neptunia or Mugen Souls), it may look cool at the start with the multiple command things, but as the enemies become more spongey and your commands increase, you'll find yourself mashing the same 1 or 2 combinations to get through, despite having like 30+ abilities.
Oh yeah, and if you plan to only go through it once, you better grab a FAQ because it's fucking hard to get the true end otherwise.
It's pretty gud.

you just need to do specific sidequests:

>$49 for ages on Amazon
>When PSN started charging $12, Amazon pushed their supplies off on associates
>Now it costs $29 for a used copy
Feels bad, I was genuinely trying to build a JRPG collection on the PS4.
That's what I meant, I believe I used that same doc myself.
I never finished it.
Should I go back? Or keep playing Nep?
Go finish it asap!!
I'm kinda depressed that the Playstation name is no longer synonymous with JRPGs, there's barely many on it this far along in it's life span. Or maybe I'm blind.
The combat system and bonus stuff like making your own music videos for in combat stuff is pretty good. But other than that it's your basic low budget JRPG.
If you try and move the camera for panty shots the characters obstruct your view.
>If you try and move the camera for panty shots the characters obstruct your view.
a pain when trying to get a pic of the big monsters
This is fucking annoying, its like the devs want to piss you off.
That's why you purposely get the girls beat up until their costumes break. Then you won't need to worry about that.
