QUICK!

QUICK!

You have 3.27 seconds to name one game series for which the best order to play its entries for the first time is NOT release order.

Kingdom Hearts

metal gear

Not that anyone on Sup Forums is familiar with the series outside of the same 4 people who show up in news threads, but Etrian Odyssey is a series that's systematically gotten BETTER with every release, so it's often better to play in reverse.

Final Fantasy

Disgeae

Hitman

Halo

Skip ODST, Reach and 4, 5

Mother/Earthbound

...

The Elder Scrolls. Start with Skyrim and go backwards. Oblivion is better, Morrowind is even better. After that I can't say because I'm intimidated by Daggerfall

how else would you play them nigga
wrong
wrong
>skip ODST and Reach
shit taste my son
the only right answer, I would stop at Daggerfall though because that's the peak

You absolutely do not need to play Final Fantasy in release order.

I would start with 7, go back to 6 to see how much better it is, then go to X. Those are the only ones you need to play. Most Final Fantasy games are skippable.

Zelda

No such series exists.

The elder scrolls

duh

>Those are the only ones you need to play.
>Not Tactics
>Not IX

With Hitman you need to skip 1 and 5 entirely.

If he thought you needed to play Tactics or 9 he would probably have mentioned them.

Wizardry
SRW

Diablo because you should start with 3

>Skipping IX for X
>Not playing XII at all
Aw shit nigga, wat are you doing?

Grand Theft Auto

It's easier to name the opposite.

Breath of Fire because the first two aren't any good and can be skipped.
