The Fox license is preventing X-Men, Deadpool and Fantastic 4 characters from being in the game. It's also primarily MCU focused, if not exclusively. That's why the Infinity Gems and Captain Marvel were in the trailer.

X-23 at least has the feet claws. Spider-Gwen is 100% a Spider-Man clone, even Spider Dindu and Silk have additional powers that can set them apart.
