What

What

Went

Wrong

The music lyrics, the tatsu "jokes", and the post game boss design revolving around augs rather than skill for the most part.

The fact that you people keep talking about this game over and over even though most people have moved on awaiting the next game.

ANYWAY

ANYHOW

>what went wrong
The fact that you've only started making these threads after FFXV bombed, senpai.

Main story could have been better, but the side quests more than made up for it.
Having to actually go to where your party members hang out individually to recruit them was a big pain.
Skell combat was too simple.
Post-game farming for augs was ridiculous, I blame the needless online mode.
Wasn't a huge fan of the soul voice to heal mechanic.

Other than those things, excellent game. Monolothsoft are the only hope for Jrpgs imo. Unless Berseria is Vesperia tier then I can like Tales again.

Every XCX thread made in the past three months has hit bump limit with literally one third of the posts being made by the OP shitting on the game samefagging pathetically.

I expect this thread will be no different. That is what went wrong.

>Monolithsoft are the only hopes for JRPGs imo
And Falcom, don't forget falcom.

>shitters compare the greatness of FFXV to XcX
>get mad when it blows up in their face
(You)

FF did not bomb....

They went full weeaboo with Cold Steel and Adol's garbage new look.

>falcom JRPGs

Literally "dude 2 hours of talking to people before 20 minutes of action and then another 2 hours of talking to people rinse and repeat lmao" the games

But Cold Steel was great, and Falcom's always been a tad weebier than other JRPG producers.

A LOT

Bust slider was removed for no reason.

What went right?

Literally nothing. Sup Forums just thinks that every new release has to be automatically bad to justify their eternal pessimism.

>What went wrong
>Nintendo
>WiiU

The side quests are more interesting than the main story missions, which are boring and usually end in a boss that will wreck your shit until you grind a few more hours

>literally offline MMORPG
>Nintencucks praise it like the second coming of RPGs

You lads need to play more games.

Have my babies, Pepe.

Like?

Mass Effect
Skyrim
Fallout

America taking the initiative in colonizing the rest of the galaxy and taking lesser races under our wing as we lead everyone to a brighter future

Xenoblade X: Oil-Drilling Simulator is truly the GOATiest.

Poor use of the ost. Certain weak tracks play all the time and certain strong tracks rarely ever play.
Also no audio sliders.

You should be able to recruit your party members who are all part of BLADE from the fucking BLADE Scout Terminal.

Story progression should be more organic, finding a piece if the lifehold in the environment should be story integrated. Something like a call telling you to return to base to organize a retrieval mission, or tell you to stay there and guard it (cue ambush), or something.

More player impact on the world than just the water treatment plant and the Sylvalum bridges.
Finishing NLA gets brought up in game all the fucking time, why can't you do it in postgame?

I just bought it for $35 and some other Wii U games before they become hard to find and/or super expensive since Wii U production shut down.

This interests me.

Holy fuck Wii U production is already shut down? What the fuck. Even the PS2 only stopped being produced like 2 years ago.

Yeah, it's official as of a few weeks ago, you can google it easily.

Nothing

minecraft is is cool because it is free relm

Ok, now it seems that's not the case and was announced it will shut down 'soon'

PS2 wasn't a failure though.

Name one mmorpg that feels like Xenoblade.
You will not find an mmorpg that is as structurally good as Xenoblade. With mmo's you have subscriptions, dlc, timed events, and other useless shit that ruins it. Not to mention the gameplay in almost all mmo's are humongous time wastes. Rarely will you find an mmo that doesn't have the same copy and paste gameplay from WoW

Mainline FF games never bomb, even when they're trash, like FFXIII.

You won't see a truly honest review of FFXV for weeks at least.
