I just hope the regular PS4 will be good enough for most of the games coming out in 2017. I'm not really a graphics whore but more powerful hardware could bring performance improvements and I used to fucking hate playing cross-generational games on PS2 when they were only good on PS3.

If I haven't played Yakuza before, would the first one be a fine start? Between that and Gravity Rush 2, I don't really give a shit about anything else.

It's also cheaper and is the only place to play Nintendo games, which are actually distinctive, unlike Sony/MS exclusives which are just sad mockeries of PC gaming staples

The thing with the Xbox is that MS is stupid.
It was doing really good then MS decided to jump on the motioncontrol thing. While Sony did that too, they didn't focus so much on it. They dropped it. Unlike MS.
They kept pushing and pushing.
They even made it mandatory for the new console alongside other stupid corporate ideas.

The console wasn't doing good but it got a few nice exclusives, which MS decided to put on PC to make more people move to Windows 10.

Sure, most people own 1-2 consoles each gen and a somewhat decent PC.
But what's the point in getting a X1?
You can play console-exclusives games on PS4, play Sony exclusives on it too and the few good MS exclusives are on PC

I like the MS exclusives a lot more than the PS exclusives, and 90% of my friends play on Xbox, so I have no reason to really play on PC. The few game I actually do play on the PC are games I can't play on my Xbone.
