I head someone say someone say someone say someone say there's going to be a surprise stock in GameStop and Best Buy and Target tomorrow. Can anyone confirm?
Also, NES Mini and anything Nintendo thread.
Will this shit be in stores tomorrow?
Bump.
Another bump.
Apparently they'll be in Toy's R Us this morning.
I'm vaguely interested in one, but waiting at an online site to snatch up one for 60 dollary doo's doesn't really appeal to me.
Just buy a Raspberry Pie 3 kit off amazon for $50 and install Retropie. Can play all nes, snes, gba, and most psx or n64 roms/isos.
Why bother with that piece of shit?
>we will restock another 3 NES Classic Editions
Best Buy fag here, we had them yesterday, just a surprise box and they only come eight to a box.
I love this artificial scarcity garbage Nintendo pulls
you should sell those on the gray market my dude
Not him but had a manager do that at my store I'm pretty sure. Was talking about making $400ish off ebay selling them without saying where he got em. Than suddenly the store manager implements a 24 hour ban on managers buying those and hatchimals.
Basically good luck anyone that wants one, you gotta fight the people that stock it too.
Yeah, a couple of us have, as long as we aren't using our discounts, it's legit with the company too.
Hey man gotta make that money somehow.
Maybe I'll try to snatch one of Urban Outfitters to resale
I work retail. 20 came today and they come 4 to a box. Nintendo started shipping to retailers again.
Me and another coworker bought 3 and another coworker bought 1. I work unloader so I just made my girlfriend wait.
Feels good Mayne.
Ah, must be nice. I work strictly sales, I'm not technically supposed to be working if the store isn't open, so I'm not around for any of the unloading, but they don't let the truck people buy them that night anyway at my store.
"the truck people"
sounds like a racial slur desu famalam
Why does Nintendo love to do this artificial scarcity crap? Every fucking time.
Cause it keeps working
How to prey on autists 101
I work at Toys R us and they will indeed be in stock tomorrow along with fucking Hatchamals. I still don't see the appeal to either one
Don't care too much for the nes I'm just hoping that next year they do snes. Fuck i be allover that in an instant I'd pay top end £130. Yes I know what emulators are I been playing them for like 8 years already
But why? Wouldnt it be better to have 100 people buying 100 of their products, instead of doing artificial scarcity and only making 50 of that product and only having 50 people get it, and probably have those people resell it for an even higher price afterwards.
100 > 50
I simply dont understand.
Because this piece of shit makes a cool ass case for the Pie.
Basically, from what I understand, Nintendo is very stingy when it comes to advertising. When stock runs out immediately and people sell it for $200 on ebay, every website on the internet writes a story about it, local news channels talk about it etc. Nintendo saves millions on advertising, then once everyone knows about their product they start shipping more.
This thing is laughable. It was supposed to give everyone the opportunity to go on a nostalgia trip, then the stock runs out immediately because they produce way to few, and now it sells on amazon and ebay for almost as much as a real nes.
Nintendo is just messing with their audience at this point, they don't give a fuck anymore
