We need the Mach 5 in Rocket League
We need the Mach 5 in Rocket League
Yuo are rihgt
Why has there never been a good speed racer game?
Or has there?
DS one was surprisingly great.
I don't play this game but I agree
putting in a bunch of fanservice vehicles would make me want to play it. speed buggy, mach five, a small form of any of the power rangers individual zords, the ninja turtle van
The PS1 game was great.
Ok grandpa.
It has the Batmobile and the BttF Delorean already, I'm sure we'll be getting plenty more fanservice bullshit eventually.
>favorite animu is probably speed racer
why are there no good racing anime? there's speed racer, initial d, and that's about it for notable ones
>thought there was a good one on SNES
>combined racing sections with platforming sections
>go back to play it last year
>the racing section runs at 5 FPS
it's just awful. I think I got spoiled with how smooth Super Mario Kart runs, even with 2 players. every other racing game on the NES/SNES is just balls
The Wii movie tie-in one is great actually
You know, that's a vehicle that would actually fit in perfectly. I'm down.
I heard the the movie tie-in game was actually pretty decent.
Xbox version has warthog from halo and that 6 wheeled tank thing from gears of war PlayStation version also has sweet tooth truck from twisted metal
Fzero? Redline?
any way to get crates faster in this game?
Backfire with a pizza delivery topper and unreal tournament flag is the only acceptable car
The Mach 5 can actually drive on walls and does those insane jumps too. Perfect vehicle for that game.
X-Devil master race.
>not either version of the takumi
do you even deja vu
Do they have any Twisted Metal cars yet?
looks exactly like the Trident senpai
I have to respectfully disagree, sir.
Playstation version has Sweet Tooth.
If Psyonix were to put in a Hot Wheels Car Pack I would pay whatever amount they wanted
So many iconic cars that would fit perfectly into Rocket League
My man, you have neglected to mention Redline, which means you are in for one hell of a treat
>they're finally adding in the rocket league trainer mod as an official thing
about damn time. that mod has helped me out tremendously and everyone else should play with it too
I love the movie but everyone says it's shit, I don't understand
>Redline
Fucking yes. Everyone needs to get on this.
If only the live action movie hadn't been so braindead stupid, maybe Speed Racer would still be as popular as it used to be. Remember the Dexter's Lab parody?
Fuck man, that SR:The Next Generation cartoon was so insultingly bad, it legitimately depresses me that it was Peter Fernandez's last role before he died.
I've heard about it
but wasn't it a manga originally? how can a static page about driving be cool?
>but wasn't it a manga originally?
No, you're thinking of something else. Redline was a movie made by Takeshi Koike, and it was hand animated over the course of seven years. Also, it's pretty fucking rad. Demolition D+ did a pretty good spoiler free review of it if you want to watch that first to get a feel for it.
As weird as this sounds, I've always thought the Mach 5 would be an awesome vehicle to have in a zombie apocalypse. That may sound stupid, but the buzzsaws alone make it a deathmobile.
Was the F-Zero anime actually good? I've only heard of memes from it.
You're allowed to have a personal opinion, even if it's wrong.
Where has Demo senpai gone?
The Umaru review killed him.
What's wrong with the movie? Not that accurate to the source material but the style and action was fucking rad. That much won out for me.
It's pretty bad but the visuals more than make up for it's failings.
Shallow story and nonsensical scenes that don't follow even their own logic. The special effects don't blend well and the green screen effects are terrible more often than not.
I didn't watch it for the story lol
And while the special effects may have had technical issues, the flow, action, and style were what sold it. I'll gladly excuse technical imperfections if the ideas and execution are great, and that's how I saw it.
