Loras is still portrayed as being a great warrior, though. GoT really did make a lot of other stupid changes to pander to SJWs, though. The Dorne storyline, for example was absolutely butchered and replaced with "muh stronk wymynz"

Westeros isn't really about magical adventures and whatnot for the average joe.

The closest you probably get to standard adventurers are the hedge knights that nobleman throw at each other.

The only thing I disliked about the GoT potrayal of Stannis was his relationship with Davos; in the books, Stannis doesnt punish Davos for telling the truth, he admires him for it and rewards him.

Other than that though, i dont really see why so many people think Stannis was misrepresented in the show; I mean if you honestly don't think he's going to burn Shireen in the books, you havent been paying attention.

I dont think that's what they were trying to potray, because Jon gets resurrected by the same god that Stannis was worshipping. Stannis' arc is closer to Macbeth; a character who starts out thr story as being fairly moral, then sacrifices those morals along with his loved ones in the pursuit of power.

Like how in the books, Stannis has Alester Florent burnt for trying to sell his daughter to Joffrey. But in the show, her burns him because Florent refused to give up his idols of worship. It makes him look like more like Melissandre's zealot than anything.

Westeros is a terrible world, there's literally only like a dozen nations/states in the whole world. One continent is an entire country, which is not realistic in the least.
