I'm guessing somewhere in between Q4 2018 and Q4 2019
What new mechanics do you think they'll add to the game?
There was some small moments in Left Behind where you could lead the humans into the clickers, seeing as we're playing as Ellie I think there will be some of that
Do you think crafting will be improved? What new items would you want to make?
Not sure, I just hope the new weapons and items aren't too OP or anything. Part of what made TLOU great is that you had to be careful with the small amount of stuff that you had
Do you think they'll focus more on multiplayer?
Hope so. I want more customization so I don't just play with some random person everytime, and it would be cool if they do what they did with Uncharted 4 and had a full roadmap of free maps and content. And no paying for certain weapons like the last time that was just greedy
Hunter Turner
>Christmas 2017 >Absolutely no fucking chance It's not like they're going to use a completely different game engine, though.
Aaron Ward
>Christmas 2017 Mid-2018 at earliest
They said it's still very early development
Jordan Mitchell
>Do you think crafting will be improved? What new items would you want to make?
Probably new weapons, way to distract people and different ways to do the same things you did in the previous game
I'm only going to watch the story on Youtube since i have no interest in playing it and i doubt people play it for the gameplay
Blake Price
They decided to finally make TLOU2 after uncharted 4 failed so I'm guessing this game is gonna be complete shit, and if joel dies the last of us dies with it
Ryan Thomas
Reminder joel is Dead and ellie is talking to a ghost.

I hope they focus more on multiplayer. The multiplayer was fucking amazing.
Ayden Russell
The last of us could really benefit with better enemy a.i honestly. If they could match the a.i they had during their e3 gameplay demo, then I'd be plenty happy.
Kayden Carter
>I'm only going to watch the story on Youtube I can tell you really like playing video games
Luis Jackson
>Christmas 2017 or later? As others have stated already, there's absolutely no chance we'll see this in 2017. 2018 maybe but it's more likely that it'll be a 2019 release. Very excited to see what ND will bring to the sequel.
Eli Perez
I just really don't like the game part, it is too basic if you ask me but i still like the story
Joshua Gomez
It definitely will not be coming out next year. That makes me think about what Sony does actually have planned for the next holiday season, I can only think of Spiderman.
Jose Edwards
Multiplayer really surprised me. I thought it was going to be some tacked on bullshit, like the multiplayer on every James Bond game post-Goldeneye.
They really implemented the crafting system well in the game with the toolboxes spawning materials. I first realized how fantastic the game was when I was the last person alive on my team and managed to make a last stand by upgrading my armor and weapons on the fly.
Lucas Cook
Last of Us is a huge meme and is only popular because of NeoGAF faggots sucking off Sony hardcore.
Are any ND games actually any good? TLOU was okay I guess. Uncharted was okay too. "Okay" doesn't cut it. When you boil down TLOU to its core it's just fucking Gears of War with stealth.
James Powell
there were only two year gaps between Uncharted & Uncharted 2, Uncharted 2 & 3, Uncharted 3 & The Last of Us, and a three year gap between The Last of Us & Uncharted 4.
2018 sounds like a safe bet given the two year gaps between games
Angel Kelly
>When you boil down TLOU to its core it's just fucking Gears of War with stealth.
Jonathan Sanders
I like the female protagonist - they're definitely putting their money where their mouth is.
However, I can't fucking stand zombie games. So over it .
Carter Murphy
Punished Ellie or Punished Joel for our protag?

>mfw before TLOU came out everyone said >UH MEI ZING LOOK AT GRAPHICS LOOK AT THE COMBAT! >I said "Those are scripted cutscenes" or "that's pre-rendered and the actual game doesn't look anything like that." >Game comes out >Those are scripted cutscenes and the graphics in the (((gameplay))) trailers were pre-rendered Why do Sony always lie?
Wyatt Ortiz
Ellie. I think Joel will be dead from the very beginning of the game. Could be why Ellie kills all those Fireflies.
Nathan Lewis
Well, i consider it a good "experience" since its main focus is storytelling anyway. As a game it doesn't do anything different than any other games have done before
I consider it a great experience but just OK as a videogame, which is why i think unless they do something amazing with the story, a second game focusing on Joel and Ellie was a mistake
Gavin Scott
>Last of Us is a huge meme and is only popular because of NeoGAF faggots sucking off Sony hardcore.
So true. Last of Us is the game you tell people about if you want to seem like the cool guy who likes video games to your friends.
Real middle brow shit like Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad.
Ian Turner
"The story" in TLOU wasn't even good and I don't know why people pretend it is. Either they're naive or just lying. >Zombie outbreak. >We found a person immune to zombies so we have to save them. How many fucking times has this been done?
Josiah Morris
2018 probably. Sony will go with GoW as their big holiday 2017 title
Justin Allen
the story is good as in the characters were well written and developed
Noah Wright
Last of Us has some neat gameplay moments. My favourite has to be the part where you try to get a car started by pushing it while zombies slowly begin to swarm you.
Camden Ross
>"i did not play the game: the post"
The point of the story is not the zombie outbreak, it is focused on Joel and Ellie, especially Joel's inability to move on from Sarah, that's why i was incredibly pleased by the ending, it doesn't become a "one sacrifice to save the world" or it does not end up as "we saved humanity, BUT AT WHAT COST", it is really just one man who found something worth a shit in his life and clinging on to it at all costs
Samuel Phillips
Naughty Dog aims for 2018, as it would be 5 years later IRL & in-game, strengthning the connection with Ellie as a player.
Henry Taylor
Been done a billion million times. I also liked how it was >implied that there were more survivors like Ellie so really his "sacrifice" meant absolutely nothing in the grand scheme. Good game, 10/10.
Gavin Edwards
I really liked the part where Joel gets trapped and you have to shoot zombies upside down.
Aiden Watson
>implied that there were more survivors like Ellie so really his "sacrifice" meant absolutely nothing in the grand scheme
Where? The only one that mentions something like this is Joel and even then, he is lying to Ellie just to not have to tell her what he did in order to save her
>Been done a billion million times Whats your point here? It has been done before therefore is not good? More kudos to them if they manage to deliver something good despite the overused setting
Did you even play the game?
Nathaniel Allen
There's a recording you find at the end that reveals that there are more immune people but ultimately trying to extract some sort of cure from them was hopeless, which makes even less sense for Joel to let Ellie willingly die for no reason.
Great plot, bravo Negan.
Cooper Torres
Well that's why they mention Ellie is perfect for the tests since her mutation CAN actually be extracted and tested upon
I'm not saying you are supposed to like the game, if you don't like it then its 100% fine, but i hate when people call a game shit just because its not their taste and it makes you look like a dumb contrarian, even if you actually had good points to hate it
John Wright
Plot should have nothing do with the quality of the game and it triggers me how "reviewers" can mark a game down for the dumb plot. Gameplay comes first.
And the gameplay in TLOU is okay but nothing amazing.
Samuel Sullivan
If TLOU and UC4 are anything to go by, it will be delayed and released spring/summer 2018
Owen Gray
>Plot should have nothing do with the quality of the game
Come on user, what are RPGs, even if gameplay comes first, it still does its job, its nothing special sure, but it is not broken or anything and it is functional
If a game establishes that is mainly focused on its storytelling then i don't mind and i can actually judge; "well if they are not going to do much with the gameplay then i'm going to pay more attention to the story"
