It actually has nothing to do with brand recognition. This game originally had a different title and had nothing to do with Prey, Bethesda was about to lose the licence so the slapped the name on this.

I thought it was just going to be a simple FPS with some interesting ideas (a bit like Bioshock) but it's an Immersive Sim and it's by Arkane Studios. I think it's safe to say it will be at least good.
Since the recent 8 minutes gameplay video it has become more interesting to me than my idealized version of Prey 2 (that is clearly better than what that game was going to be)
