Feels good. Trailers are all nomura is good for. His version of the game wouldn't have been that great given his track record. Tabata may be shit but he did what's Nomura couldn't.

My favorite part is when you fight titan and you're captured by the empire, then there's a fade-to-black and you turn up perfectly fine at the chocobo farm. But they kept your car for some reason. The only fucking good part of this game was in the Fort where your entire party fucked off and you got to actually play a video game without whiny twinks having to comment on EVERY SINGLE FUCKING THING.

The delays were not Nomura's fault.
His team had to help finish FF13. When It was finally out, the engine that was supposed to be used for both FF13 and Versus was changed so much to fit 13 that it couldn't handle Versus' open world, so they had to use another engine. And then, the PS4 and Bone were announced, and SE had them move onto next gen, otherwise the game would be forgotten with the previous generation.

It's a fucking trailer, not an actual game. People here were praising the shit out of MGSV's trailers and now they shit on the actual game. The real lesson to take away from all this is to stop getting hyped over trailers.

The MGSV trailers were pretty representative of the game. The problem was that that was it, there wasn't anything that wasn't in the trailer.

The Emperor had one (1) scene in the entire fucking game, so did Verstael and Glauca wasn't seen once. Why did they make all these character models and then never use them?

The Emperor and Glauca show up in Kingsglaive.

Glauca is the main villain in it and it turns out he is responsible for personally killing Luna's mom, Noctis's dad, and was the military commander of the Empire as well as the commander of the Kingsglaive. Somehow he did that with his backstory being he was a generic peasant in Lucis, and no one suspected him of being both, and he was both for over 15 years (given he spearheads Empire's invasion in Tenebrau as Glauca).

The Empire also tried to assassinate fucking King Regis with a goddamn pistol and no magical powers, in the middle of Insomnia, with only a handful of guards. And somehow makes it out of it alive.

That whole movie is a steaming pile of shit that makes absolutely no sense.
