What was the last game you were extremely excited for and it turned out to be good ?
What was the last game you were extremely excited for and it turned out to be good ?
I dunno if I'd say extremely, but I was excited for Let it Die. It's alright so far
Halo 4
Never has something crashed so hard since hindenburg
I was looking forward to SMT:A, it was pretty good. Definitely better than the first.
Pokemon Sun and Moon
Steins;Gate 0
Try not having shit taste and you'll end up playing lots of good games
Also personally for me it was Deathwing
Star Wars Battlefront.
I enjoy it; I have almost 140 hours played in it.
How user?
Please share your secrets.
So that turned out to be good?

Sonic generation pc
I just played a whole heck of a lot of it. I don't know what else to tell you. There's something that warms my heart when I'm running all over a battlefield with my stormtrooper bros.
The Evil Within. One of the best games I've ever played. It's like it was made for me.
2014 was a good fucking year.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the brought back the Fatalis brothers, they fucking brought back the motherfucking Fatalis brothers.
Pokemon sun
Yes, it's the best pair of pokemon games ever created.
Earth Defense Force 2025
Did you play Monster Hunter on the PS2? Shit was so hype. Fatalis was the best.
Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
I fully admit that nostalgia is a large part of it (Silver was my favourite game as a kid) but people generally agree that HGSS were great in their own right.
I had SS ordered to deliver to my house. It came in the morning on a day I didn't have to work. When I finally stopped playing I noticed I had racked up almost 16 hours on day one. I had literally played all day without noticing.
Pokémon manchildren are fucking pathetic.
kys
The Witcher 3
Like it or not Pokemon is one of the biggest RPG franchises out there.
Designed for children. Most people think you're a pedophile, and they wouldn't be wrong. I hope you hide your power level.
I mean, there's a lot of games I like better/play more than Pokemon but the thread specifically asked for something I was excited about before release. I wasn't excited about Mount and Blade for example because I didn't know anything about it before I played it, but I've sunk more days into that at this point.
Being hyped about games in general is stupid, HGSS is probably the only time it didn't end in disappointment for me.
Nobody gives a flying fuck about what you're playing on the bus home.
One could argue it's more pathetic to care so much about what others think about you that you let it dictate what you do and don't do in public.
Pokémon shitters BTFO.
...
>deathwing
>good
>he hasn't seen that disaster of a beta
