Get rid of this stupid mechanic where a titan is invincible while a pilot gets in. It slaughters ANY momentum when you try to board an enemy titan but can't because a pilot is getting in and you just awkwardly hover on top of the titan and glitch out. It also happens during a titan execution.

Titans are not invincible, in fact getting into or out of a titan during a firefight is the absolute worst thing you can do.

North kicks the shit out of people when you play her properly. The hover isn't to dodge, it's to get a good firing angle from the length of the map. All you have to do is us cover properly and play distraction. The only ones you'll have a real issue with is Tone due to 40mm shittery and other Northstars cross-mapping you.

Ronin is easily one of the better Titans. His melee takes fucking chunks off people, while melee for other Titans can be real fucking clunky.

In that case he's stupid. Warpfall is effectively useless in a fight because by the time you get in you're already at half health, even if you're just up against 1 other Titan

Ronin's melee is as worthless as other titans, you must be thinking of the Sword Core which does turn the sword into an actual threat

I don't know if I-frames would be the proper term, but when an enemy pilot is in the middle of the animation of getting in his titan the titan has invincibility frames and can't take damage. I wouldn't be so annoyed by this but I can't board said titan without it glitching out and it looks horrible.

if a fucking Legion is getting the drop on a Northstar that's been shooting around the map and basically attacking everything from it's best range, that Legion deserves that kill.

Missiles do too much damage for something so easy to get off. On top of that, having the 40mm makes him a nightmare for Titans designed for certain ranges (Legion, Northstar, Ronin) as it can be effective at any range.

All abilities are relevant, unlike the ion's trap or the Northstar's snare, everything on the Tone just works and works well. On top of that it's relevant at all ranges, has the best pilot killing weapon, and some of the highest sustained damage

It is a combination of a strong ranged weapon that is good at all ranges, a strong defensive ability that was far too strong with it's kit, a quick cool down wall hack ability, and a very strong core ability. With her Wall she can keep a whole team safe behind her, and if you stack tones you can keep that wall up for a long ass time.

As a set up Tone is a pretty good all around Titan, the problem is that all of her abilities and weapons are just a little too strong. When she got nerfed, she's much more manageable now. Her missiles don't track as well, her core does slightly less damage, her rifle is still strong at all ranges and against pilots, but it fires slower. And her wall's kit has slightly less HP

Auto-aim only works against other Titans

If you get sniped out of the air as a pilot, it's a legit hit

And it's still very bad damage, there's very few situations where you shouldn't reload the Leadwall

you shotgun titans until they notice you, proceed to smoke+melee them while taking advantage of your quicker speed and more dodges to move around them, only reload when under cover or while in another dimention.
Sword might do less damage but hitting them that way makes them panic much more, and if you're flanking they're usually not ready for a close-quarters battle

Also reloading stops you from using the amazing block, melee doesn't have any downtime. You can kill a Legion by blocking his whole clip and shotgunning/hitting him to death while he tries to reload

I can't wait for better maps.

Bringing back Angel City is a start, everything else except the maps(two of them are good like boomtown and exoplanet) are great and a big improvement over the first game.
