My last 2 videos.
Please give feedback, positive or negative. I need it.
Thats a cool mario mod
Too much arguing about video quality. Comes off as amateur. If you are both able to see and play, argue, but do it about the game. Not about the video.
Know what Im sayin?
Is that frodo throwing the hammer
I don't want my admittedly shitty channel brought to the attention of the garbage that is Sup Forums
Cmon
Thanks user, we've no clue wtf we're doing so every bit of advice helps
no you people are mean and will probably abuse the report system or something
Just dont reference the video. Dont call out your bad production value, or it emphasizes it. Keep the mouse cursor off the screen when capturing video. Record your audio separate from the video so you can edit it before uploading.
Other than that, you arent doing bad. Maybe separate future videos by game rather than doing a bunch of videos. That way you can name the video like "NES classics Paper Boy" and get more hits. But thats more of an analytics thing than a quality thing.
No we wont. I wanna see your video user
We just do lets plays
What should we do a playthrough of?
Hm. Do a playthrough of something you dont like.
Broaden your horizons.
Mine.

Really good advice here.
>constantly reposting the same thread that always gets deleted or results in a ban because your shit channel has no viewers
shameful desu
I'm in the process of rebranding my channel and developing something more than just youtube.
Youtube is a soul leeching endeavor. To get big you need to game the system which is
>screaming
>acting over hyped>
>begging for likes and comments before the video even starts
>begging for subscribers
>Pumping out amazingly shitty daily content
It's a soul crushing idea and I want no part of it.
I think I can develop something that's better, and that may very well be off youtube.
Same. Except Im staying on YT. I might start second uploading to Daily Motion as well, but I am staying centered around YT. Im trying to figure out their algorithms.
I'd personally disagree with the second part, at least in terms of more hits for solo eps. I'd love to have more videos for more views but we kinda run out of things to say as the old NES games are kinda....shit lol so in this case the compilation on shit games kinda works imo, but still thank you very much, we'll switch up our formula and try and have better vids out now thanks to you
I keep telling my partner not to point out the shit production but once he calls it out I can't just ignore it
>female
Try again, user
>begging for likes and comments before the video even starts
>begging for subscribers
"Make sure to smash that like button! and leave a comment down below.. and if you enjoyed the video, be sure to subscribe"
Almost every youtuber with 100+ subscribers does this shit, and the worst part about it is that it works.
Thats why you separate audio. Then edit the shit commentary out, and leave the good stuff in.
Not mine but he's incredibly underrated
youtube.com
>and the worst part about it is that it works.
I immediately stop watching channels that do this shit.
It only works on children.
the main youtube audience is between the ages of 8 and 18

We're just getting started but it's been a fun way to play games again with my bros, trying to find more games to play after Pokemon.
Any suggestions?
That's always been a thing
But the new algorithm has it that unless you are subscribed to someone, you NEED to get them on your channel in the first 3 seconds or else you are invisible for searches and suggested content
I'm actually working on my first video right now. Really hope I can make some extra money off a small YouTube channel along with my actual job.
After rebooting my channel I have never begged for likes/comments/subs, only putting an annotation at the bottom of the screen inthe final ~15 - 30 seconds of the video with a subscribe link.
I've gotten a lot of traction on one of my videos recently and I don't really know why, maybe cause it's a notoriously shitty game that's actually not that shitty.

Honestly, my last 2 (dark souls 3 and winback: covert operations) haven't been that good. I stand by winback review but used more foul lanaguage than I should've, but I feel like I just did a bad review of Dark Souls 3 (despite having valid points) just because I'm currently renovating my kitchen and it's gotten really frustrating and it obviously translated into the video which is horrible.
I said it earlier itt, I'm going to rebrand my channel. I mostly considered it an experiment to see viability (mostly what didn't work for videos) and I think I'm ready to take a new approach, and hopefully develop something better. Once the holidays are over since it's so crazy with family events.
What are your stats like for a typical month? I'm curious so I can compare. What's your watch time and views like?
>short hair reveal
Insta loss
im the most uncreative fuck ever
>click video
>instant screaming
Is that you pewds?
>YT now unsubbing people that dont watch your shitty videos
>will be at 5 subs by the end of the year
fug
Why does youtube hate its creators?
I've recorded myself playing random jrpgs for 4+ hours a video without saying a single word because I'm autistically shy and a charisma blackhole. Is there even a market for these kind of videos?
Damn. I gotta try that out it looks fun
I think there is... IF
>You're doing something very interesting (challenge run, or speedrun, or something like those)
If it's just a casual first playthrough it's usually quite boring.
If you are GOOD at the game, and do it as archive video.
no you turd just buy some alcohol and try again
>I know you have one, user. Why not post it?
Because the last fuck who did that got to over 30 million subscribers and became cancer.

not me, but i love this guy's shit and will shamelessly shill it any chance i get in hopes that he'll make videos more regularly if they get popular
