Stop using steam

Stop using steam

no

I will when there's a better alternative.

Reminder

Why?

Okay

never fell for the steam meme

Uplay™ has many of the games that Steam offers with a cleaner interface and occasionally gives free games! You would have to be crazy not to try Uplay™.

How else am I supposed to get stickers off game boxes?

that's hot

go back to shitposting on Sup Forums, Varg.

This a Sup Forumsmeme tho

Uplay is the one DRM worse than GFWL
Origin's client is better than steam's but its library is shit and I'm not giving a cent to EA

I don't use it.

My local store still sells games in boxes or else I go to GOG. Honestly, there's no reason the steam platform should take up as much hard drive space as it does unless they're up to some shit.

There's no reason why we should't still have physical media for our games when you can put a gig on something less than the size of a fucking pinhead.

But does it have ALL the indie games that steam has?

Next

>no reason the steam platform should take up as much hard drive space as it does
Are you living in the 90's?
>GOG
Oh...

What is this old guy meme I keep seeing.

>buy game from store in a box
>put in CD
>automatically installs steam from CD before you can install the game
youre a lying piece of shit

gog

Thats a capeshit novel. Not actual mythology

itchio has more and better indie games than steam.

Not an alternative, doesn't have newer games.
An alternative is something that offers an equivalent service.
For example, an alternative to GOG would be Piracy.

I haven't seen it.

I'm in my late twenties and meme or not it's starting to become apparent. I went like "what the fuck" when I saw a "games you played in your childhood" thread, Saw Super Mario Galaxy and realized that those kids are going to University soon.

What the fuck happened?

You fell for the getting older meme.

Stop telling me what to do you fucker.

Steam is great! Why would you not use it?

It's not so much a meme as a reality. You just think "where did all the time go" when you feel like you were nineteen three years ago and people were still playing Fallout 3.
