Bought one and pretty much never play it. Tried playing bb but it just feels like such shit because of juttering. FFXV is the same way too apparently.
Currently playing Battlefield 1, fallout 4, fifa 17, last of us multi-player and every now and then some First Light, GTA 5 and olliewood.
Waiting for Tlou2, South Park Fractured but whole, skyrim to go down to ~$20, gran turismo sport, last guardian, NioH and some other games
Probably will pick up bloodborne
I'm probably going to take mine out of the attic and plug it in to try out the RE7 demo tomorrow.

>bought a Xbone last year for $250 thanks to a friend
>average console that has awful UI and store but the games were fine
>buys a PS4
>games actually runs and looks better and UI is way better
>loving games like Infamous and WOFF
I don't see this thing being the "SECOND COMING OF THE PS2 GUISE" but it is a great system and I can see why this thing is actually the best option for the 8th Generation
Also I like remote play from my Vita too. I really want to play Yakuza 0 and I trying to look for some other games to last the the time
Still play my 3DS a lot more
Anyone play Atelier Sophie or DQ Builders? I think they might be my next 2 purchases.
Got my ps4 3 years late senpai. What other games should i get to grow my collection. I don't want to buy bloodborn because it would be waste of money since its too hard to beat. I am considering getting knack, rachet and clank and gravity rush.

I'm only playing FFXV. First time I've turned the console on since I got it six months ago.
>PS3 is finally dying after a decade.
>Old games won't work on a PS4 I buy.
ree, I hate this no backwards compat meme. I don't want to have to buy Demon's Souls again!
> the order 1886
I hope you didn't actually spend money on that game
Would it be better to get a PS4 or a PS4 Pro?
I heard there were some problems with the PS4 Pro but I'm not sure.
Can't get comfy with that loud fucking noise.
To be fair, you don't want the PS4 to cost $499 or above because of that godawful cell processor, it's why later PS3 versions took out the ability to use physical PS1/2 games because it cost a lot more.
Although I wish they added BC to the Pro since it would have be atleast powerful enough and worth the $399 price tag
>tfw bought a slim ps4
feels good and quiet
Pro or Slim?
Juttering?
PS4. Slim is the easier option if. You want a cheap but good system.
The Pro is alright but certain games (like Bloodhound) really don't benefit from it and it's only worth it if you have a 4K television which aren't as cheap to pick up like normal 1080p televisions
Unless you really want FFXV to run at 60fps then it isn't worth it for now
>Dude Raider
>Unless you really want FFXV to run at 60fps then it isn't worth it for now
Does it even do that?
I bought one too. I feel like I "missed out" after switching to Xbox 360 (was on PS2) last gen and now it's like hanging out with an old friend with stuff like Ratcher & Clank and soon The Last Guardian.
I'm also checking out the mainstream exclusives like the uncharted series (seems fun so far, but only 40% through the first game) and I got TLOU too (Did they just announce a second game? Been out of the loop).
I'm keeping an eye on Nioh, might pick up the KH game (2.8 or w/e with like 3 games on it), and Detroit because I'm a huge sucker for AI and human-machine interactions.
Tomorrow i going to buy either Bloodborne (the only true game for PS4, according to Sup Forums) or Uncharted Collection (three movies for the price of one, why not?).
I bought my PS4 for pic related. Lovely game, but i envy PCucks mods.
I would recommend getting the one that is a game.
Uncharted 1 and 2 are actually pretty good, but they're no match for Bloodborne.
4k televisions are cheap but they have like 50ms input lag and shit.
If you want a decent 4k television with deep blacks(dick), no lag, and more than 1 input you will be paying more.
Gravity Rush and Rachet and Clank are great choices. If you haven't played Digimon Cyber Sleuth I highly recommend it. My copy is with a friend so it isn't in the pic.
I've had a PS4 since 2014 and it's still a Bloodborne machine unfortunately. The memes are true. That might change next week with The Last Guardian. And there's also Nioh in a few months. Last of Us 2 will be great too but that's years away.
Just got shadow of the beast and doa volleyball in the mail. Shadow of the beast is total shit. DoA is fun enough for what it is.
Let it die seems fun but got some real shitty f2p stuff going on. You should be able to quit out of a area without it counting as a death.
Still hoping for a BB pro patch but since it was not announced at PSX I don't think it will happen.
You used to be able to find the collectors edition of The Order for $10 new. No idea if that price is still around though.
I'm not sure if I'll be getting a 4k TV any time soon (but then again I think my family member wanted to get a new TV.) Would a 4k TV be a good one to get?
It's also a little more expensive. So yeah, Bloodborne it is.
Never played any From Soft game before, but got both marks in Nioh demos, and from what i know, both games share common things.
Playing FFXV, as well as the VR version of the REVII demo (shit is nuts). Patiently waiting for TLG and the Battlefront X-Wing VR mission on Tuesday.
Apparently the Wipeout collection for the PS4 might have a VR mode
Yeah it does but I had like some crazy drops from the DF video of it
Other games like Nioh will do the 60fps option for it on Pro but that the only game I've heard about.
That's what I meant. Most of my TV's don't have the awful input lag that the others have but they are cheap these days since these are made on a regular basis.
I ironically, like Uncharted 4 but that series is a prime example of how overrated it is. That series is literally just a bunch of 7-8/10s that get higher scores because graphics and story which just feel like a B-plot.
Plus Rise of the Tomb Raider was a much better Uncharted game than Uncharted 4 was and that shit was a Tomb Raider ripoff
If you would actually look for games then it wouldn't be a bloodborn machine idiot. Stop with this bait meme already.
Only think I use my ps4 for nowadays is vr porn. Haven't even tried a game in 4k yet. I just watch psvr porn nightly. Kind of a pain to get it working too.
I've had my PS4 for about a week now and I'm really enjoying it.
Playing: Bloodborne, Rainbox Six Siege, Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2
Backlog: The Witcher 3, Uncharted 4, Outlast, Resogun, among others.
>I don't want to buy bloodborn because it would be waste of money since its too hard to beat.
Are you actually mentally handicapped or what?
Probably talking about framerate stutter
So Sup Forums, i have a problem: i want to buy all main Resident Evil games available in the current gen (0, 1, 4, 5, 6). Steam versions are cheaper and moddable but my computer might not be able to run them (it doesn't even have Windows) and PS4 versions will run for sure but i won't have mods.
What do?. Am i missing much with the mods?.
Hows FFXV?
What kind of mods do you want to put on the game? I wanted to mod watch dogs 2 for but my computer wouldnt be able to run the game anyway but I wanted to adjust the camera angle
You're missing out on nude mods.
Can I run games with more fps and/or better quality with pro 1080p tv without that bullshit upscaling to 4k?
see That and character mods in general.
Is it worth picking up a Pro? I picked up a slim mid year for $300, I feel as if I should've waited sometimes but not sure
was playing Titanfall 2 but am having a break from fps as that destiny and overwatch have wiped me out.
Played dishonored 2, completed it 3 times
Then I got into TESO, as I bought it cheap.
Have it on PC but thought I would give it a go on PS4, casual play.
Playing NMS now after the patch. gonna finally plat it, then probably go bac to dishonored 1and 2, plat 2
then play the last guardian.
Over xmas I will be playing chilled games and walking sims.
firewatch
unravel
gone home
everyones gone to rapture.
then get back into fps, or go through some old ps3 games.
all planned out
Got one myself for Black Friday, playing FFXV and Bloodborne. Was thinking of picking up Gravity Rush, anyone know if the PS4 edition is good?
I would say at least get RE4 on Steam. It's the best version of the game (aside from arguably Wii), and there's some decent to pretty good texture mods. These guys are manually remaking every texture in the game to modern standards, and some comparison screenshots they've shown make it practically look like an entirely new game. They're pretty far along in the process too.
If you already got a slim I think you should stick with that. unless you can get some nice trade in on that slim towards the pro or something. i got a slim this friday and i have no regrets. I was waiting for at least a slim model to be announced before i got on the ps4 wagon.
this
gravity rush

>he plays gookshit
I'm enjoying it a lot myself
I'm not a huge FF fan but the game has a lot of charm
Hitman.
I'm enjoying it enough. I'm about 40 hours deep right now, and just now to chapter 6. Been taking my time with grinding out side quests and whatnot. I really don't get the mentality of guys who picked the game up, and rushed through to the end. Of course your not going to enjoy the experience if you treat it like a race to the finish line.
Does the Wii version have exclusives?.
Look at this faggot having fun
I bet you can't even tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps
Faggot
No, but some people like the motion controls.
I was going to complaion about how expensive the PS4 Pro is in Europe, but then I removed the tax and apparently it only costs $370 in my country ($460 including tax). The PS4 slim costs $230 by the same logic.
pro is $393.54 and slim with 1TB is $329.68 in my country
not bad I guess
>finished

>inb4 gameplay in a kojima game
>I am considering getting knack
I think he answered your question
I got a PS3 this year and I've been having a blast. It made me realize that I care less about the technical aspect of games (resolution/framerate) than I thought and I've been enjoying everything more as a result.
I think I might get a PS4 at the end of its cycle, or in 2019 when, god giving, tlou 2 and death stranding come out.
Pick up Demon's Souls and Dark Souls when you can, they're the best in the series alongside Bloodborne. If you don't have anything to play them on, Dark Souls 2 and 3 are both on PS4 at least.
Watched PSEx and I was a little disappointed with the reveals.
Felt like there was almost no new info on existing games in development, that were revealed as far as last E3. And they had next to nothing on PSVR.
What's the deal, and what should I look forward to as a person that doesn't care for naughty dog or fighters
Whats the best 4K HDR tv to use for the Pro that isnt over 1K shekels
HOLD IT!
How are Kromania Omega, Aegis of Earth and Republique? Was thinking of picking one of then up this Christmas.
I think you'll have a hard time finding a 4K HDR TV for under $260.
January has Resident Evil. February has Nioh and Horizon, I think. March has Nier. April has Persona 5.
Or did you mean things far off in the distance?
Waiting for a 4TB hard drive that can actually fit in the damn thing
First third of 2017 is going to destroy me between Yakuza 0, Berserk Musou, Godseekers, Nioh, Horizon, and P5
I have PS4 games, but not a PS4. Should I get the Pro? I just need to know if I set the games to 1080p mode it performs better and not worse than a regular ps4. Heard some games perform worse but don't know if it's just from the higher res modes.
>uncharted 4
>comfy
Let's see if you still feel that way after getting blacked.
Been playing Uncharted 4's multiplayer, Rainbow Six Siege, and The Witcher 3 lately. Waiting for all the awesome shit that was announced at E3 and PS4 this year, namely Spider-Man, God of War, Ace Combat 7, The Last of Us 2, the Uncharted 4 single player DLC, Days Gone, and Crash Remaster. Also, hype as fuck for Horizon and Uncharted 4 survival mode. And the Scarf DLC is out for Battlefront next week so I'm hype for that too.
Bought it. Played Bloodborne and Until Dawn. UD was way better than BB. That was it. PS4 has been sitting unused on a shelf ever since. There's nothing else I want to play out now or coming out. Never cared for Uncharted games. 2 was decent but the rest sucked. ND is wasting their time making Uncharted titles when they could be making something better.
>An interactive movie is better than a game
>There's nothing else I want to play out now or coming out.
There are plenty of games coming out early next year.
>>There's nothing else I want to play
>There are plenty of games coming out
You sure proved him wrong. There are many games. None he wants to play. And who can blame him? PS4 has been mostly shovelware.
There are plenty of games coming out that aren't Naughty Dog games or their clones.
Both of you stop right now.
S U B J E C T I V E
Bought it last week and really enjoying it except for one thing. How do I get good with a controller when playing fps games. I tried the titanfall 2 free weekend as my first console fps and I cant aim for shit even when the guy turned his back on me. The whole weekend went like this and most of my kills were melee. I've never felt like more of a shitter in my life. Please tell me how to get out of this hell. I was really looking forward to getting TF2 and BF1 on the PS4.
Playing Rise of the Tomb Raider on my new PS4 Pro, 4K TV setup. Visuals are fantastic, although I'm not a fan of the Serbian Mountains setting. And yes, Uncharted 4 is brilliant.
Meanwhile, haven't touched my 1440p 980 PC setup in about 6 months. Last game I played on PC was Witcher 3 which was fucking amazing.
Enjoying video games is fun.
And I don't want to play them. Nothing coming out on PS4 looks good to me.
Wait a year or two or three. It's gonna pile up eventually.
Are you talking about exclusives only?
Console fps have soft autoaim. Usually when you scope or if you're swiping a shot horizontally it aims for you. So either scope in a lot to get that assisted aim or swipe as you shoot which registers as an automatic hit in an arc on consoles. With a console FPS it's not about skills like precision aiming, it's about knowing how to exploit the system to make it work for you. There's lots of un-intuitive glitches and exploits that you just have to look up online to learn. Then you can pretend to be good.

Extremely late reply, but I played DQB. I highly recommend it, it was probably the first game I've played in many years where every time I left to go to work I continually found myself bummed I couldn't play it.
It's very addictive and stays fresh and fun for at least 15-20 hours - however I found that I at some point began forcing myself to complete the last few chapters of the game. It's still very great, and feels fresh, all it needed was something to mix it up more beyond the first 2 chapters.
