Dark Souls 3 DLC

What do you think will be the next Dark Souls 3 dlc?

I assume they're going to add extra undead match maps, as there looks like an option to switch arenas. But what do you think lore wise?

Miyazaki shows up as final souls boss.

Age of the Deep DLC

Explain m8

Is it true the DaS2 DLC actually managed to come out with a decent game? I don't think I even finished that piece of crap.

Also is DaS1 DLC worth playing?

The final boss better be fantastic, considering it's literally the FINAL boss of the series.

DaS2: SotFS is okay, but not great.

DaS1 DLC is great.

Probably something people don't give 2 shits about.

Protip: it's going to be disappointing, like everything else in 3.

Have they fixed the weapons, armors and poise yet? I want to play, but going straight swords every time is boring.

Sorta, nope, and 'I hope you like hyper-armor'.

this.

its going to be the Ashen one going to some random literal where? place and kill some faggot we know nothing about and it won't have a single thing to do with the Dark Soul or anything and we will have no closer what so ever.

i want us to go to Londor, so much could be done going there.

Except 3 is the best in the series, move aside your nosalgia

Then quit going straight sword and just get gud. It's not the games fault you lose, it's yours scrub.

idk, I changed my plans a few days before and spent double the amount on Gears 4 instead of $15 for 3 hours in DS3

Except that it's not even with my nostalgia goggles aside

Let it Die>DS3

>straight swords break the game
>therefore I must use straight swords

New Londo but we will have to wait and see

Straight swords aren't cancer anymore, Armors still the same shit as before and poise is useful for hyper armor "frames when you do certain moves that turn on poise"

Miracles and hexes still suck balls, socerery is still barely viable in pvp and pyromancy can be pretty good actually.

My predictions for first dlc were completely wrong so I'm not even going to try to guess.

But if they don't fix the arena and give us the option to queue into undead arena 2v2 or 3v3 with friends I'm gonna off myself

Yeah the big problem with magic is that to do good damage your build has to have all the right rings and equipment. No build variety.

>projecting
I know i'm bad at the game, but that's not the reason why i use straight sword. I've only played the game twice at launch, the first one i played a claymore light armor (up until i got a dark sword) and the second an edgy katana. I stayed with claymore until i got a dark sword from the darkwraith before the watchers bossfight. I tried it and the AR difference is ridiculous based on the speed. It doesn't help that enemies are way faster and every encounter is a gangbang. I just can't help but think that the game is meant to play with straight swords. Then again i don't really remember it well since i only played it at launch.

Not what i meant. I just didn't like the fact that straight swords are way too OP in this game.

Did they buff the greatswords? Thinking of going greatswords this time.

Shit souls 3 is the worst in the franchise. Nothing but disappointment is to be expected. The autists who continue to play and defend shit souls 3, should jump off the nearest tall building while shout "I love hackazaki's cock" at the top of their lungs.

Which boss did you die to user

None I platinumed the game like all others. Its also the easiest.

What did they forget to shoehorn in from DaS1? Someone said New Londo which wouldn't be surprising seeing

Too bad there's not going to be any story closure

I agree, only boss that took me more then 3 tries was nameless king.

Great sword are a mixed bag.
They pretty much are the trade kings, you're pretty much guaranteed to win against anything by trading hits.

However they get shat on by anything that keep up damage even if its just a little bit while being evasive, throwing knifes, crossbows and quick spells all give great swords problems.

That being said there's a new exploit going around that allows you to get out attack frame much faster than normal by using certain shield, its hard to pull off but I'm pretty sure a skilled play could negate greatswords weakness of hit and run tactics as long as they don't "fix" it.

>still caring about literal Rehash Souls 3: Spam R1 edition

GIANT CLUB

FOR GIANT FUN

In this thread we list things Dark Souls 2 did that were far better than Dark Souls 3. I'll start:

>Chugging Estus immobilizes you, and the heal isn't instantaneous meaning trying to chug while someone is sticking close to you will result in death

>Stamina regeneration is tied to weight, so a character at 10% burden will recover their bar faster than a character at 70% burden, giving an advantage and a reason to make a low burden character

>Poise exists and armor provides relevant, but not overpowering damage reduction, giving an advantage and a reason to make a high burden character

>Phantoms and Dark Spirits cannot chug estus, spirits can only heal via spell useage which is slow. This makes fighting outnumbered even without mob assistance possible since any damage you do sticks.

>Can only perform four rolls before running out of stamina

>Can only perform 5 attacks of a rapier or straight sword before running out of stamina

>Parrying has longer recovery frames and consumes more stamina, making parry fishing riskier and makes parrying require higher skill

>Power stance allowing for unique combinations of dual wielding and unlocking an alternative moveset for weapons

>Being able to use the full moveset of a weapon in your off-hand including running, rolling, backstepping, etc. attacks rather than just being able to do a basic R1 swing and blocking with the weapon as it is in Ds3 (lmao who would ever want to weapon block)

>Non-linear first half of the game allows you to rush straight to the areas of the game that contain the items for your build

>Fun PvP covenants that were unique

>Bell Tower covenant providing two unique optional areas to PvP for Titanite Chunks, Slabs, and Twinkling, making farming for upgrades fun

>Bonfire ascetics to replay bosses you like and or gain items from NG+ and beyond without grinding through the whole game again

Build variety comes from that 1 extra ring slot you usually have to spare and spell choices :^)

>Last boss: The Dark Soul of Man
Heh... wow.

>Final boss is Smelter Demon

And yet all of that combined does'nt make up for soul memory. damn shame too.

Since this game sets in Europe, I hope the next Dark Souls game allow us to kill muslims.

>Last boss is capra demon
>5 dogs
>Each with own boss health bar
>No falling attack potential
>Smaller corridor

Shit gameplay and linear map design with good graphics

I have no idea what they'll do with the story, but I hope that they make some major changes to magic. All the schools except for Pyromancy are terrible and I'd like the other schools to at least be brought up to par with it.

Knowing memeazaki it will probably be a pushover boss that you're supposed to feel sorry for.

In fact, screencap this post because I am 99% sure I will be right.

Magic is my biggest issue with DS3 to be honest.

SotFS had fantastic magic variety, and was actually great for PvP.

Magic in 3 is mediocre as hell, and the spell variety is fucking TERRIBLE. There are like 7 different magic missile spells.

>good graphics
Since when

Hopefully some slutware.
