Bought this game during the black Friday steam sale and just finished it. My question is: what the fuck am I supposed to do after the story is over? All the main characters are fucking gone. This game was just a massive cocktease and has absolutely no replayability whatsoever.

if you're still not tired of it: Start over and change everything that happened way the fuck around? i thought that was obvious
New Game Plus faggot.
How the fuck is ng+ supposed to be fun on a story driven game? I don't want to sit through the same bullshit cutscenes over and over and over.
Did you play Hearts of Stone? if so play that. Blood and Wine is also good if you're into more exploration and loot
Play the expansions and do different choices in NG+ (also use the mutations you get from Blood and Wine), sure, the story mainly stays the same throughout, but some choices do change some stuff.
like
Lambert can actually die in the battle of Kaer Morhen if Keira is not participating
If you kill the bloody baron's men at the tavern, everyone at Crow's Perch would be locked in inside their homes scared as fuck when Geralt enters it
Just do another playthrough.
>what the fuck am I supposed to do after the story
the story is 90 hours long
That's a pretty generous estimate
>Lambert can actually die in the battle of Kaer Morhen if Keira is not participating
That can't possible be right since she wasn't there on my first playthru either and that didnt happen. I might buy hearts of stone though, do any of the main quest characters make a reappearance?
>the story is 90 hours long
Bullshit m8, I did every main quest, a litter of secondary quests and played on blood and broken bones. Never skipped a cutscene and finished the game in 72 hours.
thats what it took me with both DLCs and most side quests. I didnt even bother with contracts and treasures or gwent. Game is huge.
I did the main story, a fair chunk of the side quests, both expansions, all on the hardest difficulty and still only clocked 75 hours.
Its a great game, one everyone should play at least once, but saying that TW 3 will take 90 hours to beat only counts if you do a 100% clear.
If you wait long enough he actually dies, look it up on youtube.
As for Hearts of Stone, no one from the main story guys show up as it is a separate story from the main game, but it has some references to certain characters, also Shani from Witcher 1 shows up, also if you do the expansion before finding Ciri]/spoiler] a "secret" ending is unlocked.
But if you will play HoS, then you would want to play Blood and Wine, just know beforehand that Hearts of Stone would have one of the best main stories in the series and Blood and Wine's will be the worst though it will have some of the best sidequests.
God fucking damnit.

I can't deny that it's a great game im just seriously butthurt right now as someone who usually logs 500 hours+ in other RPGs. I have over 1400 in skyrim alone but like I posted in the OP I just see nothing to do now.
Did you ignore everything? My first playthrough ended at 130 hours with no expansions.
true I guess if you rush from quest to quest with fast travel. I liked to explore, so I would stop for nearest question marks, read some journals and searched for alchemy ingredients. With this king of game you should take you time to savor it to enjoy it to the max
I just don't get how they thought the battle moveset is passable in any way.
Literally any button press and Geralt starts flying and leaping 10 feet in a random direction while whirling and so on.
And apparently the only way to make the fights interesting is to just have you jumped by 6 enemies the whole game through.
how the hell did that even go through playtesting
You're allowed to be finished with something. You bought a game, you had a great time for many hours and now it's over.
>Literally any button press and Geralt starts flying and leaping 10 feet in a random direction while whirling and so on.
Have to agree with this too. Quen + dodge spamming just makes it all too easy. I maybe got hit twice fighting Erudin
>1400 hours in Skyrim
fucking how? Even if you use it to install deviant sex mods its still incomprehensible. It took me 100 hours to see everything this piece of shit had to offer (mods included) to never want to play it again
Not even once against Imlerith? Bullshit.
I'm just not used to this feel is all. The only other RPGs I've played are skyrim/bloodborne/souls-series and I never really felt like the game was straight up over after finishing my first playthrough. Not to mention that the level cap is only 100 I think after the DLCs in TW3.
>fucking how? Even if you use it to install deviant sex mods its still incomprehensible. It took me 100 hours to see everything this piece of shit had to offer (mods included) to never want to play it again
I got it the day it came out and new mods are always steadily being made.
I will admit that Imlerith was a bitch in 3rd phase but that was it. He was the only 'boss' that I even died once to.
