The miniature based game scene is filled with people with ALOT of expendable income that bleeds over into run of mill tabletop games and rpgs as well usually. I got dragged into some games by some of the guys at work and by now I've put down thousands of dollars here and there.

Because the game comes with some really gorgeous miniatures to play the game with, and that's an experience that Tabletop Simulator doesn't offer.

Just buy a figurine if you want that desu

Just finished it. Mostly a random mess until you clear the bowser section. After some practice in the editor, was able to finish it the first time I got through that part.

Ignoring the fact that GW would be still more expensive on the models alone, you forgot the 200+ cards which is the truly expensive part of the whole package
