Trash MMORPGs you somehow had enjoyed for a while.
ITT:
Literally 5 days. Awful game, and shouldn't even be called an MMO.
Black Desert
They baited me into the game for $5, made me spend almost $100 through stupid microtransactions.
5 days later, lol we're releasing this super duper power leveling servers for new players so you get 200% experience bonus for a month, but you can only play there if you have created the accounts after december 1st (day of the post).
That made mad as fuck, but god damn I had already spent so much I can't just quit anymore...
>made me spend almost $100 through stupid microtransactions.
>5 days later,
Wow. You spent 100 USD in five days?
Are you rich or stupid?
I enjoyed the game on launch until level 45ish, when you are forced to pvp flag.
At that point, my enjoyment plummeted to nothing, because I was playing a warrior waiting for musa or ninja to come out, and since I didn't want to play any of the female classes, I was essentially helpless since the thirsty virgin weeb devs made their waifu female classes EXTREMELY overpowered. Especially ranger, holy shit fuck ranger, what is with female bow classes in these eastern MMOs they always seem to be stunningly overpowered and never get any nerfs.
I waited till Musa came out, sold all my warriors stuff to finance leveling musa, then learned they were just as shit as warrior at 50, and quit. Every so often I get tempted to try ninja, but I just cannot be fucked trying to redownload that huge game (the download constantly cancels itself and there is no resume option in the launcher, so I'd have to babysit it for days), and I just know I'd be disappointed by either the playstyle or how UP ninja is.
So fuck BD. I had high hopes and they shat on them.
SWTOR
if you sub just for the story content it's a pretty good investment
anything else is
ku
so
ge
they had black friday sales, and the game was good
They cucked me out of this stupid good power leveling server for no reason tho, it's supposed to help new players ti catch up to the old players, and I'm a fucking new player ffs.
Rift Online, it's actually decent.
>Spending $100 on any video game
You are part of the problem with the industry.
Ninja awakening comes tomorrow, if there's a time to play Ninja it's now, only ones left without awakening are wiz and witch, those come on the 21, then it's supposedly to have everyone on equal grounds, except for valk, stupid cow is useless.
Sup Forums likes to shit on SWTOR, and for good reason, but its PvP and PvE was godlike on launch, there just wasn't enough of it.
I don't know what it plays like now, but I had the chance to play the first few chapters of KOTFE. Seemed good since its a storyline content. I do wish vigilance/vengeance would get buffs though.
lemme put it this way mate
you don't really get gear drops now
you grind command levels for random loot
I preordered SWTOR like a cuck but I love star wars too much
I don't know what command levels are.
when you hit 70 your XP bar turns into a command level bar
some things like elite mobs and quests give command XP
you get a loot box when you go up a level
it's very shit and very RNG grindy, worse than WoW right now
9Dragons is legitimately fun as fuck
I still play WoW to this day.
>tfw SWTOR's BH and Imps Storyline
to spend 15$ to play let alone those 2 stories I think is worth it
Berserk fans are known for enduring pain more than any other mammal.
SW light side a best mate.
I just resubbed for the new chapters
I'm going shock koth until his eyeballs explode.
That sounds really fucking dumb.
Yeah I never played SW LS I just played him DS
But I heard LS of him is literally an honorable Samurai
Is that right or wrong?
SW light side is one of the best storylines in the game.
Though my opinion is tainted, as I am a massive moralfag and love to be the big hero.
...
It was clunky and grindy as shit and no one knew what they were doing, but I was young and in love with escapism.
Actually had 10x more fun with SWtOR than with GW2. Huttball still is the best battleground ever made to this day.
escapism is dead
Flyff. I knew the game sucked. I fucking hated it but for some reason I played it almost non stop for a year.
Had more fun playing this for a few days than I did in my entire time spent in FFXIV.
I hope MMOs will see a drastic shift in focus in the coming years, something hearkening back to the old days. Because when you're having more fun playing some free indie MMO browser game than the second most played sub-based MMO atm, something is terribly fucking wrong.
I liked Eldevin but I guess I started it too late? Never saw anyone in game.
I enjoyed RS3 when it came out for a good few months.
Enjoying Wurm is fine for the first few dozen hours, because it's novel.
Enjoying it for a few hundred hours is questionable, but maybe you have friends playing, and there are a lot of time sinks.
Enjoying something like this game for a few thousand hours is actually crazy and I probably have a problem. Thank God having a job made me quit.
This game is shit, the pvp is garbage and my friend is trying to justify his gear and class = skill.
Probably going back to FFXIV, so cozy
Allods Online way before it became P2W. Love that undead race
Both games are fucking garbage, but at least FF has cute cat girls. Not that it makes the gameplay any less boring, but it has one thing going for it.
good taste user
