Geoff Keighley's speech was the most embarrassing thing I've seen in a long time. It was just the right mix of pretentiousness and hilariously overblown sense of self-importance to be unbearably painful to watch

I'm not really into his games or metal gears or whatever but I did watch it because in all of I know about kojimama is that he puts a lot of work in his shit and yeah I admit it made me feel something inside my cold, bitter, jaded heart. I'd like to see stuff like that more often in the industry.

He acted like it was the worst thing that could happen to a man, like he just returned from a war or something. He definitely blew it out of proportion. Shit like this is not uncommon, it's just that Kojima's name is big. Exact same thing happened to Assassin's Creed's creator for example, even a little worse and he wasn't treated like he went through the depths of hell.
