How's my rig?

I know it's a little old but I got it for cheap and I was hoping I could play Overwatch on it?
Any input?

im not sure what all that means but it weighs over 8 pounds so i assume that's a good sign? i should mention it runs blender (with a bit of lag) if that helps?

>DDR2

You poor soul, you should of saved the money you spent on this thing for an actual "rig", it may run overwatch on like 15-20 fps on low settings, and with some trouble that is.

is that bad?
im okay if i have to have the graphics on minimum so long as i get 25+fps average

>8400M

Nah

damn... is there something thatd be a reasonable step up from this within the 1-200 dollar range?

sorry man its just not going to work. you could play league or dota on low at 30, but thats about it. up to n64 emulation. thats bout it familam.

yeah, used xbox one. you aren't gonna be able to run OW on a computer that cheap, even one with a gpu.

Amd FX 6300 and R7 200 are about your budget.
but youd still need to buy the other components for a pc.

With those you can run overwatch at aleast 40fps on low settings.

maybe he could do it with apu? dont have experience with them so I'm not sure.

I hope by cheap you mean less than $20

also, forget about gaming.

i played ocarina of time without lag.
soul caliber 2 was 16-20 fps but i figured that was just because its emulation
are there no good upward bounds above that?
(and yeah i got it from my roommate's dad for five bucks lol)

The best thing you could ever hope to play on this thing is League of assfaggots on low settings sub 30 fps

Lenovo E570 15.6" Laptop: i7-7500U. 16GB DDR4, 256GB PCIe SSD, GTX 950M, Win 10 $509.40

is this a good deal?

yeah

>Speed: 2.10GHz

since you apparently want only laptops, yes, i think its fine for playing it at middle settings.

That deal is great just be aware that it's Lelnovo so it'll take like 2 months to ship.

Save up your dosh and get a 1050 or a 1060

I literally just finished building my new gaming PC and oh boy, this sentence:

>im not sure what all that means but it weighs over 8 pounds

that was worth a good laugh. Thanks OP.

My new rig:
>i7 6600 K 4.0 ghz quadcore
>GTX 1080
>16 GB DDR4
>A-170A Mobo
>750 Watt PSU
>250 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD
>NZXT Phantom Case
>$1800 including Windows 7 and sweet keyboard

My advice to you op: look up what a BEST gaming rig is, what a MIDDLE gaming rig, and what SHIT gaming rig is. Realize you have purchased the third. Then, understand that you need at least the second to play Overwatch. And finally, envy the first, which I have, and you'll never enjoy.

if you want a cheap used but gaming capable laptop, maybe an older alienware.
I got an M15x for free with broken keyboard/no hdd from a friend, runs overwatch at 60fps on the lowest settings, not great, but not unplayable.

Good lord what a fucking piece of shit

Trash that fucking thing and buy a tower.

Also this board is not for any user under the age of 18

hey i just bought a Lenovo G50 80E30181US with AMD A8, 6GB RAM
it was an impulse buy because it was on sale but will it function with overwatch? im not asking for 60 fps im asking for playability, something 25+fps on average. ive looked up benchmarks but cant find shit and im not very knowledgable of hardware for AAA gaming

>I played a game from almost 20 years ago with no lag
>can it play Overwatch?

You're a fucking retard. Just buy a console, you're obviously too stupid to get into PC gaming

>Intel Centrino
This thing is ancient and should soon increase in value again as a PRISM-free laptop.
Or for retro gaming. The Geforce 8400M GT is good for anything released before 2004 or so. Put Windows XP on it and go visit GOG to get some classics.
Forget Overshit, it doesn't even launch, as the CPU and GPU are both missing essential features. You got the PC equivalent of a Playstation 2.

My rig:
i5 6600
GTX 1060 6 GB
16 GB RAM 2400 MHz
1TB HDD
256 GB SSD
22 inch IPS monitor

Playing Witcher 3 maxed (HairWorks Geralt Only), decent PC I gotta admit.

I live in Po(or)land, so it was about 5k in my currency (1200 USD), but think of it as buying 4k USD machine for your western standards.

>best
I wouldn't say it's the best, but it's in the higher range.
Best would be SLI-ing that shit with another 1080 for shits and giggles.

That is fucking ugly case.

>im not sure what all that means but it weighs over 8 pounds so i assume that's a good sign?
>i played ocarina of time without lag.

this is the best "rate my new rig" bait I've seen in a while
thank you OP, you got a laugh out of me
