Wildstar, still the most skill based mmo ever ?
no
>mmo
>skill based
Pick one
Despite being pedobait, tera combat was one of the most skill based I ever played.
I remember that Dragon Nest and Blade&Sould had some skill needed too.
It may be an achievement but the hardest fight I've ever done in an mmo is pre nerf hard mode yogg saron alone in the darkness. If one single person made any type of mistake, time to wipe and try again. It requires all 25 people in your raid to play at their very best.
I felt like god when I discovered this game.
Wildstar is highly skill based, but that is probably one of the reasons it turned a lot of people away, they don't want things to be so hard.
The "Raid Attunement" was ridiculous and beating even the most basic 5-man dungeons often required incredible team coordination and communication, sometimes I felt like we needed to be psychicly linked to beat a boss.
For example, the boss puts out the typical electric boogaloo disco inferno apocalypse of AOE and telegraph shit, as they typically do, but everyone might have their own plan on how to dodge it and they might get split up as they do, meaning the healer can't heal everyone since it's not tab based.
I tried to go back to Wildstar but they did this weird server merge thing and it ate my lvl 40 characters, even though I was told it wouldn't.
WOW combat is shit. I find incredible that they can make engaging raids with this base boringness that it is.
look at this little memey memer. I bet you are top memester in your reddit class.
People can say what they want about WoW, but the game is fluid and responsive, perhaps one of it's best elements.
That image reminds me of getting epic quest weapons in Everquest.

>Remember the open beta of Wildstar
>Bugs here and there, some quests can't be completed, a few glitches here and there too
>But the sense of wonder of exploring a new MMO with new people and some alright gameplay made it feel amazing
>Early bits of the game are amazing and suddenly it turns to trash after you reach the respective capitals
Fuck. Carbine had something good going.
I'm downloading it too, want to start together? I'm a dirty brazillian so think it through before you accept.
>Free = Earn XP at normal rates
>Sub = Earn 25% extra XP
What kind of fuckery is this?
What problem could you possibly have with that?
