If the movie is 1080p for example it will only run at 30fps, pretty much most movies I get there are above that and I have to downscale using ffmpeg

you can look around, and everything is 3d, but the effect is much better than normal tv 3d, when the actress kisses you in the mouth it makes me blush, and I'm rarely ever actually immersed in stuff. You can look around like you're looking through blinders in a 180 arc but you can't move your head, only turn it while it stands firmly still. But you can see a 3d vagina right there in your face to the point you feel the lack of warmt, it's really good.

I only had anything resembling eye strain before setting up my cardboard configuration right. If your cardboard doesn't have a QR code to set it up automatically you'll have to do like me and create a custom profile for it, but it's kind of easy, but I had to do a lot of testing to find the right values.

To be fair, I have had better luck with 180-270 degree videos then 360 videos. Up until I lean back and suddenly get freaked out as I feel myself falling.

Make sure you get one with a strap and proper padding, stay away from actual cardboard headsets if you plan on watching videos for any length of time.

i have seen some plastic ones with the strap and some kind of rectangle you can pull out to put your cellphone there, then back into the VR headset.
