yume nikki obviously

Undertale easily

Try looking up who translated the game, then come back with results

The witch's house

Check out Fran Bow, it's a really good horror point and click about a girl that nobody talks about

I have already played it, amazing game.. is there something like that?

What have you played so far?
Maybe I have no mouth or Combine or LSD

I've played Ib, fran bow, Mad Father and The Witch's House

Yume Nikki, Yume 2kki, .flow
Me i guess if you want to play that? Personally I think Me looks like garbage but that's my opinion

Try the first and third recommendation in this thread, those are pretty good starting points for finding more.

Also it's a VN but you might enjoy Saya No Uta, it has real dark themes. Maybe Corpse Party too

slimesalad.com/forum/viewgame.php?p=1781
an obscure one

Seconding the Witch's house, the payoff is terrific

I don't really like the graphic
I have no mouth seems pretty good
I don't understand how yume nikki works.. what should i even do?

For a more "mainstream" feel, I would say try The Cat Lady, more so if you liked Fran Brow.

For a surreal setting, I'd say try Suits: A Business RPG store.steampowered.com/app/410670/ It's pretty trippy.

Also check out Hello Charlotte. The first chapter is free, etherane.itch.io/hello-charlotte-ep1, while the second chapter costs money, it's absolutely worth it. etherane.itch.io/hello-charlotte-ep2 or on steam store.steampowered.com/app/557630/

Yume Nikki is an exploration game, it's like and acid trip, you have to collect items and try to use them in stuff, tough I doubt you'd be able to finish it without a tutorial, it also could be called the inspiration to most RPG Maker horror Games, and spawned several memes like UBOA and the vomiting girl

everything seems interesting but i have a question.. does The Cat Lady have jump scares?
by tutorial do you mean a walkthrough?

Well you'll eventually get stuck and won't know what to do, so yeah a walktrought

Lisa

It's been a while since I've played The Cat Lady so I don't remember 100% but it might have a couple super minor ones. The main atmosphere of the game is how intense it can get.

it's interesting, it looks like fran bow

It's pretty good. It has some great twists to it. I really liked it. I'm not one to be put off by certain things or themes, but the woman who did the voice for Susan sells her character super well. When she starts talking about her suicide attempts and describing some scenes it gets pretty uncomfortable from an observation stand point.

if you liked Cat Lady make sure to check out Downfall Redux, it's a sequel of sorts and plays exactly the same

The sandman

i heard it's full of jump scares

Oh shit man. Thank you for reminding me! Grabbing that now. Had it on my follow list.

As in the witch house? Maybe a few. As in some skelleton jumping on your screen, nope.

Lostboy.exe if you haven't played it already. It's best to go into it blind so don't do too much research about it.

>store.steampowered.com/app/410670/
looks a little OFF if you ask me.

pls don't be virus

You are an asshole. Don't download, it's a virus.

Ib's probably the best RPGmaker horror game along with Yume Nikki, but if you're looking for similar atmosphere I'd recommend some of the more popular Yume Nikki fangames. .flow's pretty decent as far as I remember.

>blatantly lying
For what purpose? Do you just really hate lostboy.exe?

Visually it's pretty reminiscent of OFF, thematically it's nothing like OFF. I had a lot of fun with Suits. It's not terribly long, but the humor is pretty dark and spot on. It's pretty much Brazil: The Movie: The Game, and I enjoyed the fuck out of it for that.

Undertale

what a faggot.
i have already played it

...

Mermaid lake and the Crooked man come to mind.

Middens, maybe.
There aren't enough surrealist games out there.

Not OP, but I tried Middens a few months back when someone mentioned it in another thread. It looks amazing, but holy shit was I fucking lost and confused through most of it. I need to pick it back up again and give it a go.
