Basically what happens is that anything that isn't centered on the screen looks like a potato, and as soon as they appear in the camera again, they're back to normal. It's actually really fucking trippy.

What this tells people(potential consumers) is that this is what they chose to represent their visual style and animation. What is lost in translation here is that Bioware has never really cared about technological representation because this is a scene that portrays the character.

these honestly look like animations I'd do if I just started learning SFM a few weeks ago, how the fuck are professionals allowed to get away with this? every other AAA game these days has outstanding animations, hell the last guardian is better than some AAA and while it might be backed by sony, the dev team is still small.
