Here's the thing...

Here's the thing. I believe I kinda outgrew vidya (32 yo) but I still like to play some Isaac or spelunky while listening to podcasts or some music from time to time. So I am looking for some games that

>can be played with a gamepad
>don't take up too much time
>don't have some convoluted story and
>are relaxing but not too easy either

Uh sorry dude but I have a life and a job. I don't have the time to recommend games to you.

Downwell

JRPG. They are good enough for small bites after a quest or story bits before saving.

fuck off normalscum

Post more Emma Watson

Going more casual as time goes on is a perfectly normal thing my dude. Seing what happens usually in Sup Forums, it's either that or being a full fucking autist living in your mother basement and eating chicken tendings all day.

Anyway, i recommend you the Uncharted series. It's fun, it presents a challenge if you go on hard, and the story is a comfy indiana jones style.
Personally been playing Watch Dogs 2 lately and it's pretty good for short play sessions too.

Brigador
Not really relaxing once you ramp up the difficulty and I don't know how well it handles with a gamepad but it supports it.

The Pinball Arcade, Downwell is awesome btw.

Sounds like you enjoy Roguelikes, so maybe check out Enter the Gungeon.

>32 year old
>still on Sup Forums

i remember back when i was 15 like you. I was saying exactly the same and now im 31 and still shitposting and playing vidya

>the underage thinks he will go away anytime soon

>old people are on Sup Forums
No wonder this place is so shit.
Anything passed 26 is too old to be here.

Crypt of the necrodancer

People who are that age were once underage and on the internet. Believe them when they tell you that you're not going anywhere.

>Here's the thing. I believe I kinda outgrew vidya (32 yo)
You just outgrew PC games like Minecraft.
Once you buy a console like every sane adult does, you will find a wide selection of "movies", kids usually find extremely boring, because they are unable to understand the narrative.

GTAV is a good one for gamepad.

Diablo 3 console version too

Sorry friend, Sup Forums hasn't been around for 16 years.

You're either still underage, a newfag, or a combination of both.

How old are you guys? What do you do? When did you get here?
>23 yo
>Computer Engineer
>2006

I'm not old but i wanna know about you guys

did i say Sup Forums at any point in that post ?

This. I'm 40 hours in, only played while listening podcasts.

>I was saying exactly the same
you implied it

Here are some games on PC that are great to just open up and play for a good half an hour or so, maybe less, maybe longer.
>Darkest Dungeon
>Nuclear Throne
>The Talos Principle
>Downwell
>Abyss Odyssey
>Terraria
>Cities: Skylines
>TowerClimb
>Outland
>Dark Souls
>Hotline Miami
>Portal 2
>Serious Sam
>Super Meat Boy
Dark Souls ins't for everyone, but I got into it because you don't have to pay attention to any dialogue, much like the rest of the games on the list. Only the first Dark Souls is any good imo and I really enjoyed learning how to play in bursts of 3 hours, 3 times a week, when the podcast I listen to is on.

I agree with this user than Uncharted is a fun game to just turn on and play a level or two, sometimes longer if you have the time. There's a lot of dialogue though so I don't recommend listening to podcasts while playing this one, but def give it a go if you have a PS3/4.

where

>22 years old

Spelunky and Isaac are the best for that. Check out FTL too.

Taking a gap year next year while I figure out what I really want to study, two semesters of Marketing was enough of that shit for me.
>2008/9
I didn't post for ages and as soon as I did I got banned for shitposting, so that put me off posting for a long time, so I just lurked for hours a day for years. I only started posting again once I found boards like Sup Forums and Sup Forums which weren't Sup Forums. I think I started posting in my second to last year of high school, so 2013ish. Would have still been underage, like 17

Nice as hell. I hope everything goes well for you.

Why is she so perfect?

Hey, me too buddy
Does it ever get better? Cause I've been depressed for years and it just keeps getting worse, even with medication
I feel like I'm weeks from offing myself

>internet can't exist in your life in your 30s

I'll never understand this mentality..

>32 year old

user is near 40 and wasn't on chans before 30.
Because they didn't exist.

>"outgrew" vidya

>average age of gamers is low 30s

You're full of shit and a casual.

N++

Not hm, but I'm 34. I've been seconds from suicide since I was 15 and there's really no signs of it ever getting better. Life fucking sucks, but you get used to it.

>you now notice emma watson's mustachio

it does user but this shit takes time and its not worth killing yourself over just yet

Holy shit how much of an autist you have to be? The guy was in gaming forums at 2000 and still shitpost about games 16 years later, what's so fucking hard to understand? Why do you have to fight about everything you insufferable cunt?

>25y
>NEET since oct after finishing university

mein nigger

I don't get the podcasts meme.

I tried it and just feel like I'm being force-fed opinions.

>my tax dollars going to unused education

Not necesarily. You can listen to people who have the same opinions as you.

I agree with this, I hate podcasts, it's hard to pay any attention to them specially if you're doing something else, I'd rather listen to audiobooks on the bus.

I graduated college 3 years ago and still no job.

It's okay to listen to something you disagree with.

>implying your tax dollars go to education
stop posting, retarded american

Kill yourself baby boomer trash

where do you think government grants comes from?

...

Podcasts are no different than talk radio, except you find ones that are catered more toward your interests or sense of humor. If you can't handle listening to other people's opinions then you have issues.

>trash

I'll enjoy my long retirement while you you work till you're 75, thanks for taking care of the debt

>college students get grants
Only those doing research, like particularly motivated undergrads and grad students

i heard it just goes downhill if you dont find a job after half a year. Your résumé just has this blank spot that you cannot explain without going into personal trauma.

>23 years old
>2006
>got a degree in computer engineering
>1 year later still no job

congrats on being the not-worthless version of me

>21
>California EMT
2010
>inb4 banned

Yep. You probably thought you were going to "grow up" and stop doing shit like this...

Future sucks, eh?

Actually i found my job on accident.
I didn't want to work at all, i was totally tired after finishing college, so i decided that I'd go NEET for a year. The one who was my girlfriend in january started bitching about why i wouldn't get a job and shit, and by pure coincidence that day a friend of mine offered a job position to his brother and he didn't want it, so i took it and here i am.
My point is: That shit comes and goes. Just keep on searching and have faith in yourself.
Also make good use of your time and study programming languages or some shit. Even if you don't use them, it'll look good on your resume

Anyone under 31 was underage when Sup Forums started. Newfag.

>podcasts
i have nerver listened to one, would u recomend any? or does anyone know any good books on tape i can download?
i love watching tv n shit while playing games but tryign to look at the other screen distracts me from playing to much at times

Here's your (you), kid.

he fell for the "everyone can go to college and get a good career" meme

you should have noticed the signs early on, you would have been happy enough working in the garage or factory

not him but you did word that like a fuckhead and it implyed it

N++

Not him but you should learn to read, son.

fitting what you're searching for might be
>Rogue Legacy
>Bastion
>Risk of Rain
>Super Meat Boy
>Guacamelee
>The Lego Games maybe? although they're generally pretty easy

Also if you've got some friends to play with get some Castle Crashers in.

>looks like a dick
user............you alright

>21
>Computer Network Security/Data System Management
>2008

I still wish I was back in my teen years when I first found this place, I use to browse and laugh at all the people here. I used to say that there would be no way that I would stay here and keep posting, and that once I was leaving for college I would stop. I was wrong.

Construction worker. 28.
2005, iirc. Post revival, Happy Negro/Cockmonger days (but I never went to Sup Forums on a regular basis)
Really don't know what I'd do with myself if this place died.

You are probably a millenial and don't even know it.

See you in 5-10 years bro.

>there is a max age limit
user please

>21
>College student majoring in human geography and cartography

Recettear. You can play in bite-sized chunks of 5-20 minutes each pretty easily, and the game itself is pretty great.

Have you tried the Darkest Dungeon user?
