What do you want specifically out of the upcoming patches Sup Forums?
>full CGI scenes of the daemons running rampant in Niff land >More scenes of Iedolas Aldercapt and not just make him a shitty imp harassing you in corridors >explain why the hell Ravus was a character and what happened to him - what purpose did he serve? >better explanation of the astral war and what happened with Shiva in Niflheim and with Ifrit in the past >more LUNA >The scene in the Dawn trailer where the crystal marks Noctis and Regis cries outside the citadel needs to be included in the game
Also did anyone know about the prologue novel? This includes some interesting scenes. It definitely foreshadows Prompto's origins which the game could have benefited from as it is extremely shoehorned otherwise, as well as explaining why Cor wasn't in the Citadel for the signing. Noctis and company are actually still in Insomnia a good 30 minutes into Kingsglaive as well.
>Make the World of Ruin at least party explorable, we should see the devastation first hand and how the 10 years has affected people, not just be told about it in exposition car rides >Patch in at least an escort quest with Luna in Altissia, really hammer home how normal Luna makes Noctis feel >Fix the fucking one-hunt bullshit >Add better and more precise fast travel, and maybe somehow speed up the loading of the fast travel >Do SOMETHING to make the car more interactable, it's a mess when you have to use it >Fix the camera, it's a mess indoors during battle scenes >Do SOMETHING to fix Chapter 8, 9, 11, 13 and the ending
Lincoln Murphy
>he bought the cuck beta tester version
Jayden Morgan
Well... yeah. I fucking HATE that I'm being punished for being an early adopter.
Christian Flores
I thought the patch was only supposed to include more scenes about Ravus and add some changes in the chapter 13 gameplay
Jack Morris
the dream sequence should have been the omen trailer. I'm pretty sure everyone didn't see it
Zachary Foster
Why does any of this matter to you when you've already finished it? Your first playthrough has been ruined
Samuel Cooper
I actually didn't fully understand what happened with Noctis and the crystal. He got swallowed by the crystal, but then ends up in a prison on Angelgard and the crystal in Insomnia's throne room. Did Ardyn just store Noctis on Angelgard for reasons?
A better way to do multiple hunts at the same time I could definitely get behind. Getting some more in game time with Luna I would love but something that Square wouldn't bother with doing. I would've liked Tenebrae to be explorable as well.
Mason Baker
>I actually didn't fully understand what happened with Noctis and the crystal. He got swallowed by the crystal, but then ends up in a prison on Angelgard and the crystal in Insomnia's throne room. Did Ardyn just store Noctis on Angelgard for reasons? I haven't got a goddamn clue and every time I bring it up here I get told to "read the Ultimania guide" or get dealt a shitload of head canon
Zachary Rodriguez
>has a movie >has a novel >the game has like no story >like the game is unusually storybare for an rpg >it doesnt even feel like the world is all that deep
I know they probably needed funds to finish the game, but the entire 15-universe keeps reminding me of the phrase "kill your darlings". They really need some better writers for this series if they want to consider staying an rpg. This is like Warcraft-levels of needless saturation.
Owen Rogers
I hope they add a theatre menu so I don't have to replay the game to see these new scenes.
Josiah Lopez
Great idea actually. I have no intent on replaying.
Matthew Sullivan
>can have anything you want added to a GAME >What I want most for them to patch in.... >ITS TO MAKE IT MORE MOVIES
Fucking faggot want to turn games into movie games. Bet you are one of those cancerous fucks who wanted MGSV to have more cutscenes too.
Liam Perry
it's a stage of buyer's remorse
>t-they'll fix it reeeeeeeee
Jason Jackson
I think it spits him out there because the crystal itself is in the throne room guarded by Ardyn. The crystal didn't leave Noctis unconscious, but stored him inside of itself.
Lincoln Torres
Same, but not 'cause I didn't enjoy it.
I just can't replay open-world games after I'm done with them. I do just about everything in the game and then I'm set for the next like two or three years.
I still have some sidequests to clean up so I probably won't even be done with my playthrough before this patch drops anyway.
Owen Price
I feel like the timeskip was VERY poorly handled. Not much was explained and you were just thrown in to the ending. Absolute bullshit.
Ian Watson
I'm pretty sure they cut most of Omen for the dream sequence because a lot of Omen was conceptualized before the game got severely rewritten. The only parts they kept in the trailer in game were the relevant ones - Noctis losing his ability to summon weapons, being seperated from his friends, Pryna dying. All the other stuff like Noct turning evil, fighting Luna, being led astray by a friendly force was probably closer to Versus XIII before Tabata went on a spree cutting things out of the game.
Mason Adams
One user came up with a theory that they'd already committed to a timeskip before the story was rewritten so just half baked it
Alexander Parker
Season pass gives us episodes on the other 3 main characters and allows us to play as them. I'd like them to expand that to allow us to play as Luna, Aranea, Iris, and Cor and give them their own episodes.
I'd also like them to build out the second half of the game. Add in areas and quests. Maybe just add new quests and dungeons for the entire game. Make meatier, of higher quality rather than a lot of them.
I'd be okay if SE spent the next 2-3 years dropping DLC into XV and milking the XV fanbase for all it has. I don't want to leave this world, but it also needs a lot of work.
Levi Scott
I want more exposition in chapter 13 than just a few pages telling us all the shit that's happened, and I want World of Ruin to be explorable. Shouldn't be too hard, especially if they make that one DLC. Use the world they've already made, turn off the lights for everything but parking spots (for gameplay purposes) and Lestallum, and throw a bunch of demons everywhere. Then they can make some quests. That's it.
I'd also like to see Insomnia before the big homecoming. There's no emotional attachment to the city because all we ever see of it is in Kingsglaive and over a bridge. The big coming home moment falls flat as a result. Not to mention that the city itself basically consists of 2 tiny above ground areas, a subway station, and the Citadel
Cooper Wood
There are a lot of characters that just vanish. A LOT. Add them. Add their stories and how they meet their end.
Luna is just... there, so, even if she isn't playable I want more of her.
Basically, in most FF games each character, even the villians get time for development. this is the first time in a FF where the story is so anemic and the characters barely get any screen time, specially the leads, so fix that.
Also, add stores where you can buy outfits that have their own stats.
Kevin Nguyen
I like your point about Insomnia.
When you finally get to the city and the game goes for a cheap emotional moment, I didn't feel a fucking thing
Carson Rogers
>these people actually believe that they will receive a free content update Jesus fucking christ.
Blake Martinez
This.
It will be small pieces chopped and changed.
Andrew Johnson
You're being stupid user. The reason people are complaining about the game's story and pacing is precisely because of a lack of cutscenes. As a result major plot revelations are told to you in a couple of lines like it was nothing. Are you honestly suggesting the game is better for not showing the fall of Niflheim or anything about Ravus or Iedolas, and just going for lazy exposition?
