What do you want most out of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite?
For me, it is pair play.

A tag system that's more than just custom combos.
no children and better grafix.
shits garbage.
Yea I'd like to to tag on blockstun and during a blockstring. And Duo team attack.
Do you think they had sex?

What the fuck is up with Caps' waist. Actually what's going on with his entire model?
Perhaps.
I hope most of all that the game's systems fall together nicely and are balanced, and that the roster's balance is good overall too. Marvel 3 had more than half of its huge roster viable in tournaments, so I'd hope it's closer to that than MvC2's slightly huger roster having less than 10 viable. I'm also quite interested in the tag mechanics and Infinity Stone systems themselves; I think they have potential.
But on a personal level? Gene and/pr Venom on the roster would be fucking radical.
what does fair play mean in your eyes?
Legacy soundtrack options
For not too many characters to get axed from 3
VARIABLE CROSS

bruh she'd be great, the whole "no X-Men" rumor def hurts her chances though
Sounds crazy and childish but flavor finishers for specific teams
X-MEN
RUBY HEART
AMINGO

Crossplay and good netcode, I'm sure I'll find someone on the roster who appeals to me
Mil looks so based in a suit
No dingus pair play as in 4 player 2v2.
gib
Is that Magik? My nigga
I never played the first MVC. How exactly did Variable Cross function?
Doesn't he? When he ambushed Puma while wearing a suit for no reason some weeks back I smiled.
Good for you he's pretty much the most likely newcomer out of anybody. I hope he has an original moveset and not some gimped/tweaked version of Wolverine's like some are speculating. I want him to have Vibranium projectiles and wall clings and shit.
While it being developed in-house means it'll probably be designed with competitive in mind, I don't think people should expect gimmicky mechanics like we saw in SFxT, since they're trying to make this as casual and normie friendly as possible. So, hopefully, that means the skill ceiling is very high, but overall, the mechanics are relatively basic while allowing for fantastic things to happen. I mean, shit, they already removed the third character and dual assist mechanic.
Man i can just imagine this guy in a fighting game.
I bet he would have a super ware he spawns the 2 extra pairs of hands and all his moves get extra hit stun kinda like chun in SFV.
For them to fix my waifu's face, she looks retarded in that screenshot.
Lets you use both characters at once.
Honestly, I think the combination of in-house and simplification will be good for the game. The Stone system is easy to grasp, but it's also basically Grooves, and Grooves are one of the best mechanics in fighting games.
Speaking of, anybody got ideas for the button layout? I've seen some speculation that'll be:
LP HP Stone
LK HK Tag
could be worse
Wasn't there speculation that they're keeping the LMH+S? Tag being it's own button might fit with the simplification, but I don't think they'd go that far. LMH+S is about as simple as you can get really.
Yes, but how did it function?
The game does have a groove system.
This means every characters can be payed in 6 different ways.
While the assists in III did give many possibilities in the end people just picked whatever allowed for combo extenders or abusive disruptive attacks like Doom missiles.
This is why the game had like top 8 characters everyone played every tournament.
And ironically whenever you see someone pick something different thy usually sucked.
6 different ways to play the same characters means its possible for every character to be viable now.
While it's true that the infinity stones will function like the Groove system, I don't think Capcom's going to make it as complex as CvS2, since that was really deep and kinda crazy. Not saying it won't drastically allow for differing combos and playstyles, but I don't think it'll get to the levle of complexity as CvS2.
I would think so, but if you look at the footage in the trailer, most combos have the characters bust out 4 normals. You can visually see Ryu do his Jab, his Short, his Fiece, Roundhouse, and then a launcher, all while standing. Same sort of rhythm for the other characters. There's also a visual indicator of launching, which is something that games without dedicating launching buttons (MvC2, TvC) have, but not Marvel 3.
I do think that the Stone and Tag mechanics will both have dedicated buttons to replace Assist buttons. That way you can pop your Stone or initiate your tag with one button, and do other things just with basic Quarter Circles (QCF+Tag is Snapback, QCF+Stone is your unique ability like the wallbounce or the teleport dash, QCB+Tag could be team super).

Oh. You had to use both high kick and punch at once. With a level 2 bar(I think been a while) I forgot to say can pull constant hyper combos as long as the bar didn't run out.
I hope that kind helped.
Something that would get people demanding a new Darkstalkers. Like better character picks that actually represent the source material. But since Morrigan's already there, we're not off to a good start on that front.
4 player mode
Combined Hyper Combo names
SonSon and Spencer to make a return
I don't care what it is, so long as it's NOT Gwen
How would he even work.
You do not have his disadvantage of blindness or his super senses. Nothing unique about the character would be translatable to a fighting game.
what the fuck did they do to morrigan
Spencer is practically confirmed. The guy who leaked the game said he's the only character not shown he's certain is in.
I don't know anything about Darkstalkers, my entire experience with it is Morrigan and Felicia posts on Sup Forums.
What characters would best represent it?
The more unorthodox and monstrous ones. Anakaris (who actually was in MvC2 for some reason, but played quite differently), Rikuo, Lord Raptor, or Huitzil for example.
The three from MvC3 and Demitri. Honestly Demitri and Morrigan were always supposed to be the faces of the franchise but waifufags gonna waifufag.
He has years of ninja training up his sleeves and extend able billy club and is fucking awesome. Eat a dick, "Nothing Unique". Really What's so unique about Wolverine? Oh he got slashing claws, whoopidy fucking do. What's Chris got? A gun? Gee that's nice in a world where people shoot fireballs left and right.
Shut up.
Character interaction/Intro dialogue
Gave her back her correct color scheme.
Wolverine and Chris should also get the boot.
In the comics he was a discount Spider-Man before frank miller turned him into a ninja, so think Guy with goku staff.
Though I'm a fan of the character he would be a pretty boring addition, especially if they're going off the show where his only superpower is not being completely blind. Though if they're short on agility wall jumping characters he could fit the bill.
You'll never get a straight answer. Some would say Demitri or others would say the more out there choices. And some insist it's fine they way they are.
Demitri is sort of the main character, but he's basically just a shoto with a Vampire design. The only interesting thing about him is his Shun Goku Satsu-style move that turns his opponent into a girl before he sucks their blood.
Lord Raptor (a British Punk Rock Zombie), Jon Talbain (a werewolf that is a martial artist and can use nunchuks), and Donovan (a guy who hunts monsters and uses a big sword) are common wants. There's also other girls like BB Hood (a violent Red Riding Hood parody) and Q-Bee (a bee girl). Plus other options. Really, nobody is more relevant than anybody else, other than Morrigan & Felicia, who seem to be the most popular due to crossovers (barring Lillith, Morrigan's sister, since it'd kinda be silly to put her in a crossover over a more interesting character).
I'd be cool with Morrigan and Talbain, one waifu and one monster
rumor is X-men will be dlc
The series is called "Vampire." Putting the main fucking character in a crossover to represent the series is a no-brainer, but lazy-ass CrapCum doesn't give a shit about anything but "hey people love Morrigan and Felicia's gigantic, mostly-visible tits, let's put them in."
Confirmed to have the same writer as 3, so I expect the same quality in them, PLUS the cinematic story mode.
>Those Deadpool vs Spidey quotes
Holy shit they shit on that play HARD.
>The only interesting thing about him is his Shun Goku Satsu-style move that turns his opponent into a girl before he sucks their blood.
Demitri actually invented the Shun Goku Satsu. He had Midnight pleasure in two games before Akuma was ever able to use it. Also Morrigan was the one who first used the LP, LP, F, LK, HP input. So the "Shun Goku Satsu" itself is really just two ripoffs in one.
A moderate amount of pussy
A more balanced game. That and better netcode.
I definitely don't love that but if it means Wolverine and Magik can be in then I'm fine with it
but also put in Ruby Heart
...
I mean, he was one of the most popular Capcom newcomers, Infinite is reusing a bunch of 3 assets, AND Combofiend is working on the game. He was an easy call.
>Those thighs on cap
good lord
She likes to collect artifacts with magical powers or some shit according to her lore. It's gonna happen user.
I hope Rearmed Spencer is a skin again or something.

For me, it's the McChicken, the best fast food sandwich
they even use each other costumes sometimes
>he was one of the most popular Capcom newcomers
Here's a fun fact
Bionic Commando 2009 was a big flop on release.
Capcom has a publicly available list they call Platinum Titles, where they list every single one of their games that have reached 1 million units.
The last time the Platinum Titles was updated was August 8, 2016. There were 75 games on the list with Duck Tales remastered being 75.
The list was updated recently on December 1st, 2016.
Bionic Commando 2009 somehow managed to reach 1 million copies sold, 6 years after its release, despite being a critical and financial flop.
I attribute that entirely to MvC3
yea i wish more fighting games did that
That's amazing
X-Men and some Fantastic Four-related characters. If they're not in I ain't buying shit.
A different art style. This shit looks boring so far.
The only wrong with it is it looks too washed out.
Turn that Saturation dial the fuck up and it'll look 10 times better.
Leave Morrigan as is though, she looks more accurate to her source material this way.
He can ricochet his clubs off shit nigga that's cool.
You know Juri's counter in SFIV, where if it's activated it's a dash instead of an attack?
Flesh out that concept into a character. A character whose movement and options become stronger the more buttons your opponent presses, which is something very dangerous in a frantic game like Marvel.
He could have a cool cinematic counter Level 3, too.
He was in the Imperfects game
Holy shit that game looks awful.
Captain Commando and unique interactions with Captain Marvel.
Literally manchild
>tfw I should be studying but I'd rather talk about MAHVEL
Are you literally me, user? I went over my notes once at least, but Mahvel Infinite has got me legitimately excited.
I want it to get more popular than Guess Fighter V
A real replacement for assists.
Assists let you cover weakness in your team, extend combos, and do whacky setups. Tag combos do not accomplish this.
it already looks better
I'm a huge sucker for interaction even the smallest bit. Any ideas on some interaction? Obviously Iron Man is going to be hitting on every girl in the game and have some unique words with Cap. It all depends on whose in the game to see the potential

The developers have quite literally said that they're intending for the Infinity Stones to do this. Shit, the trailers themselves showed that the Stones give you combo extensions that aren't otherwise possible in ways that an assist can't; by changing the rules of how you combo as opposed to just doing one attack to extend it at one point.
Stones also work like Grooves in snk2
