How the hell is anybody supposed to make Diamond rank in this? Every time I get past 2900 Blizzard decides to match me up with autists for 10 games in a row and I end up below 2800 again.
I get at least 3 gold per game and I constantly communicate with my team, so inb4 get gud

They don't want to listen, dude. The same thing happened to me. I didn't even aim high. I know I'm not incredible but I can usually at least hold my own in a shooter. Used to play Tribes 2 and UT2k4 a lot. I placed at 54 in S1 and worked up to 63. S2 I played 2499 (one fucking point away god damnit) and sunk all the way to 1300 by the end. I refuse to believe this meme horse shit of "HURF DURF GIT GUD" in a team game where communication and skill are both equally important.

Well simple fact is if you're not good enough to significantly influence a game then you belong where you're at. Of course someone who plays at a 3000 level is going to struggle carrying 5 people to reach 3000 but if you play at a higher level, say 3400, then solo queuing to diamond would be no problem. They made it easy as fuck to get into masters this season so stop bitching

Anybody else know this silver feel? Players willing to follow commands, form proper team compositions yet aren't good players so therefore cannot use those heroes/comps to their full ability. Honestly a bastion and torb along with a rein would be enough to ruin any of these comps for shit players like myself.
Find a group. Even if they're not very good, you NEED some consistent people to play with. If you don't queue with at least 2 other people, winning is just a gamble.

Try duo queuing or triple queuing with players you have good vibes with. They don't necessarily have to pro MLG, just on the same wavelength as you. I main Ana and it's fucking painful solo queue. Ult synergy wins games.

I can't aim for shit but I was at 2400+ before last season ended by playing rein lucio. Went 7-3 in placements and got put at 1700. Fuck this game's shitty elo system.
