only way that can happen is if OP had someone else recording and happened to get them on the opposite team after he was on a winstreak. The likeliness of that happening is extremely slim.

they are suspicious because so much of the game is fucking hidden. If there was a stats screen with damage done, kills, deaths, suicides etc. no speculation like this would exist. It's actually the biggest reason I hate the game really.

As totally bizarre as this sounds, I have to acknowledge that after I consider one major factor, it's not really that implausible at all.
And that is the simple fact that this games ladder is completely fucking irrelevant. Forced 50 doesn't even work on its own because people you queue up against that are a bit higher SR than you can be utter garbage in MORE FREQUENT CASES than other games that involved ranked matchmaking.
WHY IS THIS THE CASE WITH OVERWATCH?
Well that's simple. This game takes little skill, little creativity. The meta is stagnant, you'd break your fucking neck standing up because of the low skill ceiling, and people are just too invested in the ongoing hype that hasn't died yet to realize how awfully shallow this terrible terrible game is, and how completely fucking retarded it is for it to have ranked matchmaking in the first place.
Face it. You know it to be true. A naturally balancing 50% winrate is reserved for a ladder that has players ACTUALLY divided by skill, not this castle made out of sand that blizzard has going for overwatch.

I think in this case "Skill" at the game can also be read as the ability to properly form a team comp and use meta strategies to win more consistently. Therefore it makes sense for someone who does these things to be placed in a higher bracket than someone who just randoms heroes or plays their favorite. Ability to aim isn't the only "skill" factor here.
