The single player elements and how it's forced down your throat is so fucking shit in the game and it's unbelievable how FFXIV retards are defending it. It's easily the worst element in any MMO I've ever played, what the fuck were they thinking.

Agreed. Every MMO is just copying each other these days and none of them truly stand out anymore. 14 also has all these weird particle effects for every fucking attack that gets extremely old quickly.

The thing I hate the most is how summoner is just a re-skinned WoW Warlock with even lamer pets. You got actual summons in XI.

It's no worse than WoW overall and has certain exceptional elements.
The crafting system is great, one of the best if not the best in the genre. I also think that the art direction is top notch. If only the textures weren't so low res.
