I still havent played W3 but im playing the second one now and it is so bad i regret wasting money on it.
At least on the first despite the problems in story with lets say clarity it was still a fun game when played on hardest difficulty,and they stick to the story as the original autor intended in the books even it wasnt canon still very very solid and I will gladly replay it again.

Now the second one is lets forget everything we did well,lets add tons of unnecessary geometry,garbage,terrible UI and make it for console because thats the new market we want despite the first game succeeding on PC.

The only reason W1 works as it should is because of the well written story from a person whos job is to write good story.
W2 just takes whatever mash up W1 was from books and the extras and piles more stuff that gets in a direction where Geralt actions in the first game in reality dont even matter even though W2 happens right after W1.

I would have been satisfied if they ripped the other books and just make another fantastic game and gameplay,not cripple the alchemy system because few people using controllers would find it difficult to master secondary academical ingredients.
