Is this normal for promising AAA+ game of the year with 5M copies sold?
FFXV
¥6980 is still a lot of money
>5M copies sold
Five million shipped not sold, big difference.
Japan is irrelevant in the console market. FFXV is the highest selling PS4 game after a week with about half of what FFXIII sold. Just shows you how dead the market is there.
In Japan? Yeah. The prices drop hard after the first month from release.
It shipped 5m which is akin to FF13 when you add up all territories.
Sell through was allegedly (shaky source) 48%.
>after the first month
It's been out less than 2 weeks
that pic is a second hand item, so it is already in the square's money box.
5 million copies SHIPPED
Not really, since it's the final price, tax included.
$80 is a lot
That price drop is basically $60 to $57.
>7000 yen
>80$
Dude it's less than 60
yen ain't what it used to be
6980 JPY
60.46 USD
57.02 EUR
47.73 GBP
>Second Hand
Roughly £48 Bongpounds
>New game is £50
Wew.
> comic sans
???
60$ for a game it's a lot of money
>$80 is a lot
>3hrs work for me
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH quit your McJob and learn a trade
Fuck, I only have 10 good boy points saved up this week.
No it's really not. Those are sold to distributors that sell them on. And despite what the one user who was talking out of there ass was saying the other day you can't just send back "unsold" copies. There not TVs they are software. If it was that easy it would have happened more than like twice ever and eb games and gamestops wouldn't be sitting on a metric tonne of yearly sports games and anime rpgs.
>3 hours to make 80$
I'd be homeless if work paid so little there.
