SHAVE HIS BELLY WITH A RUSTY RAZOR!

>still no standalone pirate game

Does Ubisoft even want money?

PUT IN THE BOWL UN-TIL HE'S SOBER!

Sea of Thieves looks really good

>ubisoft stealing music from spongebob
why was this allowed lads?

the most retarded board award goes to...

Future's looking good for pirate games. Engines and PCs are finally capable of rendering vast 3D oceans. Have been for a bit now, AC4 just made them realize this shit sells if they do it well.

Player-generated stories are usually a failure though, so I'm a bit worried if they're relying on that for content. It always sounds great in theory, but the end-result is terribly hit-and-miss with most belonging in the miss-territory.

>tripcuck
>calling anyone else retarded

OH WE'VE GOT THIS NOTION

this game was awesome as long as you didn't have to do the gay ass assassins storyline or the modern memory vr simulator who gives a shit

wasted opportunity: the game

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

COME ON YE YOUNG SAILORS AND LISTEN TO ME,
I'LL SING YOU A SONG OF THE FISH IN THE SEA
AND IT'S...

>wasted opportunity
Wouldn't say that. Devs created a great opportunity from a shit one. They're stuck with AC forever, but they wanted to make a pirate game and they used AC to make the game they actually wanted.

Whoever is the project lead really played his cards well if you think about it. Prototypes in the earlier AC games then full focus in this one. The end result is the only AC game from the middle of the series that managed to pull an audience that otherwise had zero interest in the AC bullshit.

THAT'S A LIE THAT'S A LIE THAT'S A LIE LIE LIE

LOOOOOWLANDS

LOOOOWLAAAANDS AWAAAAAY ME JOHN

The music was fantastic in this game.

>want to reinstall
>don't want uplay on my shit

I'LL TATTLE A TALE THAT IS TERRIBLY TRUE
IT STARTED AS A RUMOR, BUT SUDDENLY GREW

Suck his dick.

I'd pay good money for a Fallout game set in the caribbean, going from island to island on a makeshift boat

>Fallout
If by an actual good and competent company on a real engine, maybe.

Anyone been following this game? Does it look like they're pulling it off?

The alpha trailer they put out finally makes it look like they're taking actual direction with the game instead of just team deathmatch with accordion mechanics

>tfw the first alpha is only for xbone

>instead of just team deathmatch with accordion mechanics
Top studios keep going for team deathmatch like it's some sort of safe bet, when it's so far from it. Multiplayer in general makes me a bit worried. And you make money, gold. What do you do with the money? Do you gold-plate your ship? Different types of ships? Customization?

cosmetic if they want to go the moba route
stronger gadgets if they want the cod audience

>And you make money, gold. What do you do with the money? Do you gold-plate your ship? Different types of ships? Customization?
I have no idea, dude. It's the earliest alpha so I guess they're still figuring shit out.

But they did already show customization so I assume you can buy clothes. And probably new ships? I'm not sure what happens with that recall-ship mechanic. Like if you'd get the class of ship you bought before it sunk or if you got the shitty class until you got to a port or what.

Looks like a shitty mmo behind the pretty graphics.
