Which one did "Middle-aged man raises a young girl that he has no relation to in a zombie apocalypse" better?

Which one did "Middle-aged man raises a young girl that he has no relation to in a zombie apocalypse" better?

Considering Joel didn't raise Ellie and only delivered her from A to B, I'd say Lee.

story was better in left
and right had such bland and boring gameplay that the no gameplay of the left was actually better too
so left is better

Neither did Lee, he found her in a house and looked after her for a bit.

TLoU takes place over at least a year, possibly longer than Lee had with Clem in which no noticably large period of time passes.

I cried at the end of Left and felt a little tinge of emotion at the end of Right. So Lee and Clementine did it better, story-wise.

Did you let Clem shoot Lee? I did

>a point and click v.s a movie
neither is good

>Japan Studio barely gets credit for creating most of Sony's greatest IP's
>Meanwhile, ND gets away from stealing from other people

Lee.
Clementine is objectively more sexually appealing than the shitty Ellen Page render and he must have had godly will force not to succumb and rape her.

Left made me sad.
Right made me ponder my own humanity if placed in the same sitautions.

TLoU is objectively better at asking the question what would you actually do if placed in a gut wrenchingly hard scenario.

If were talking Walking Dead (graphic novel) the scene where Rick leaves the prison with Carl to the point where the phone calls stop happening are way better emotionally than the Telltale games.

Stop saying Joel is a prick for not choosing humanity.

I feel like it was the only way for the entire game to mean something

It's a game all about hard choices, constantly making the "easy" or "right" choice and babying clem should've given you an objectively bad ending imo, I feel like you're fucking her over by not preparing to make really tough decisions in the future

At least Walking Dead did the whole having a black character as the lead thing right. I don't know why it's so hard to have a non-white protagonist without making a big deal out of it.

*tips respectfully towards you*

Is Joel even white?

The Walking Dead
Lee was a human being in a bad situation that only became worse.

Joel was a former murderer, mugger, hitman, smuggler.

>Stop saying Joel is a prick for not choosing humanity.

People are so quick to choose the "MUH WE MUST SACRIFICE THE MINORITY TO SAVE THE MAJORITY" bullshit in these kinds of games

If you're not an autistic robot neckbeard or something with no one to love, you'd know that it'd be impossible to sacrifice a loved one just because mathematically you'd be saving more people in the end

muh Daughter-fu is worth more than any of the other faggots left in humanity

I think he was a construction contract worker/something to do with architecture before the shit hit the fan

The Last of Us has unparalleled writing, performance and character arcs.

Of ANY game. Anyone who says otherwise should be ridiculed for the fools they are.

Lee, no contest.

>Clem
>Lovable innocence you want to protect.

>Ellie
>Annoying 'realistic' snot nosed brat who ends up ilogically becoming a dyke just so devs can fill the gay character quota.

You tell me user

Nice opinion. Have a (You)

Why? they are just your typical Hollywood games with a man protecting the cute little girl. And of course they are super strong and can kill waves of guys that OF COURSE, waste bullets and makes tons of noise to kill 1 single man and a little girl without caring about the zombies. Geez so deep.

Atleast in TWD you interact with more people, Kevin for example will shit your group to protect his family and he is a coward.

I was going to make this thread yesterday.

I bawled at the end of Walking Dead. I teared up a few times in TLoU as well but not like at WD. I fucking bawled. I actually enjoyed Last of Us more though. I like Ellie and Joel more than Lee, the ending just wasn't sad.

I usually pay close attention to shit like that and for some reason I never thought about the race of Clem or Lee. If they shoved it down my throat the whole time I probably would have and been pissed about it.

I knew the endings of both games, but Walking Dead was emotionally much harder to complete. Although the final sequence with running away from Fireflies was pretty good.

t. neogaf user

I'm tired of the "angry old asshole treats kid they're saddled with like shit until a certain point" thing that media seems to love at the moment, so Lee & Clem were more interesting imo

nothing is impossible, user

Joel. Lee's actually an idiot who was constantly misplacing her and had to be straightened out by Chuck before he got her killed.

nice nigger-tier reply youve got there friendo

TLoU is great-tier, there's no denying that

>angry old asshole treats kid they're saddled with like shit
name 3 games where that happens

I said media, not games nigger. I'll admit that TLoU was one of the first games to hop on it but I've seen the trope before in other media and it just annoys me now

I miss Lee.

you're probably tired of it since most 'media' products who follow suit are garbage-tier.

What Joel did is what most people would do, its not even a choice since it'd be done without a conscious thought.

Not to mention there was no guaranteed. Apparently Ellie isnt the only one who was immune, and they had no way of knowing if the surgery would actually work and if she'd live or not (but she'd most likely die since the cordiceps was attached to her brain or some SHIET like that). Of course Joel didn't want to kill her off for no reason after all they went through.

>SHIET
Were you momentarily black?

Ellie is sexy while the other one is way too young and black to be even remotely attractive

You mean blacked?
aka
NIGGER DICKS NIGGER DICKS BIG ASS FUCKING NIGGER DICKS

are you alright there user?

reminder that telltale walking dead doesnt even come close to Tlou and the only ones saying otherwise are PCucks

I kind of agree. What makes me really assmad about the TLoU ending is that the Fireflies didn't just cap Joel.

That humanity is doomed because of a guy not wanting to lose his daughterfu a second time I can accept. That it is doomed because an emotional nigger bitch squandered the only opportunity it had by letting a guy exact revenge because "he iz da only one who understandz what im going thruuu x)))", that's a harder pill to swallow.

But I guess getting unceremoniously capped in the head is not a very good ending to a video-game.

>Bawled

What a faggot.

Never been to neogaf. TLoU has the best writing and character performances of any game. Deal with it.

I told her to not risk the noise. Frankly, if I were in Lee's position, I feel I'd make that decision.
